Lili joined Jay and some police men who sat at the reception area.
‘Lili why are you here? Where is Cycal?’ Jay asked worriedly, after the attack of today then he is definitely scared for his kids.
What if the one who has his wife tried to harm his kids.
‘Dad she is surrounded by guards’
‘Even so, ok you stay here and let the police men interview you…I have to make a call’ Jay said then left, Lili sat and faced the police men who were ready to interview her.
‘you are a public figure and everyone attention is in you, but someone trying to kill you is absurd’ The officer explained and Lili nodded.
‘I don’t have any enemies and I also don’t believe the bullet was for me, what if it was for Sara? She is still a mystery and might have caused a lot of problems somewhere’ explained Lili placing the police men in a confused state.
‘What are you trying to insinuate?’
‘Forget about my case, I need to find my mom, you guys should be working on that’
‘we will do as you say, more enforcement will be sent to guard your family’ they stood up to leave before turning towards Lili.
‘and your dad also ordered for some private body guards for you…they will be available tomorrow’
‘What? I don’t want bodyguards’ she scoffed
‘Every celebrity needs one, you can talk to Jay about it…we are just following orders’
Lili walked walk towards the elevator and was about to close it when someone rush in.
‘Thank you for holding the lift’ the guy said and Lili rolled her eyes.
‘I didn’t hold the lift’
‘So do you remember me?’ he asked with a smile and Lili knew he looked familiar but she just can’t remember where they met.
‘The guy who gave you a rose this morning’
‘Oh it’s you, sorry I have a lot going on in my mind’ She apologized and he nodded before extending his hands.
‘Am Lucas Montero…it’s my pleasure meeting you’
Lili accepted his handshake before quickly breaking it.
The elevator door opens and Lili walks out when Lucas runs to her.
‘I wanted to ask you a question’ he said and Lili frowned, she really did not have time for fans.
‘Am really busy’
‘It’s about your mom’s case’ he said and Lili became interested.
‘Ok speak’

‘That company who digs out celebrity’s garbage? How disgusting’ she sneered.
‘They are not that way, they show celebrates real life to the camera’

‘Ok that’s not why am here, I am here to ask why you wanted to post a news about the president’s son’ Lucas asked and Lili was shocked.
‘What do you mean?’
‘The other day we were asked to publish the news that the Diva’s phone was found at the president’s son place’
Lili eyes widened in shock, the news was true but why will they do that.
‘My dad cant make such demands coz if he wanted to publish the news then he will go to a more renounce company and I didn’t say anything then who did?’ Lili was really confused.
‘The lady was described as a blonde’
‘A blonde you say?’ The only blonde present that day was Sara…why will Sara want the media to post such a thing.
Does she have any grudge against Louis or is she trying to mislead them.
‘Thanks Lucas, I will advise your company not to post anything about my family’
‘We are smart enough not to Lili, but I will help spread news about your mom disappearance’ he smiled then left.
‘Thanks Lucas, you just clarified something important to me’ She muttered then retracted her phone to make a call.
‘Hello aunt Kaina….’
-Lili walked into Sara ward and she slept there on the bed weakly.
‘Sara how are you doing?’ Lili walked towards her worriedly.
‘I will be fine, I was so worried about you, hope you didn’t get hurt’ Sara asked and Lili nodded before holding her hands.
‘Am fine and its all thanks to you, if not for you then I will probably be sleeping here in a bad situation…I really appreciate’
Sara smiled and nodded at her.
‘Its well’
‘You saved my life and I want to repay you back….our family is involve in a lot of danger, see my mom is nowhere to be found and I was almost killed today’
‘so I don’t want you to get involved in our family danger, you are but a stranger…I rented you an apartment and also some maids’ Sara eyes widened in shock, what did she mean by she rented her an apartment.
Is Lili not supposed to feel guilty then take her in, why is she pushing her away.
‘I want to be there for you guys’ Sara said weakly.
‘Sara you are too generous, don’t mind we will be fine’
‘But I ….’
‘No buts, when you are discharged then I will personally drop you off at your new apartment, and also you are a single lady at this age…its not good, why don’t you concentrate on building your family?’
Lili explained then stood up to leave, she walked towards the door and stared at Sara who had a huge frown.
‘Am not called a cunning actress for no reason…acting is my domain’ She smiled then walk out.
--Jay walked towards Cycal and handed her a cup of milk.
‘Let Lili come and we will leave for home ok?’ he said and Cycal was lost in thought.
‘Princess’ Jay called snapping her out.
‘Dad your phone’ She handed over his phone to him.
‘Have some milk’ Jay said and Cycal was feeling sad.
‘Oh dad someone just called your phone, it was a lady…she said she knows were mom is and you should come save her’ Cycal said and Jay dropped the coffee he held.
‘Someone called me now?’ Jay asked and went through his call log.
He saw the unknown number and immediately dialed it.
‘Hello’ a man said from the other line.
‘Hello its Jay Brown’ Jay said and the man scoffed.
‘Is everyone trying to scam me today? Why will Jay Brown call me…you thieves don’t call me again’ the man scolded in a proud tone.
‘It’s really Jay Brown, you know were my wife is?’ Jay asked desperately and the man had difficulties believing that Jay Brown will call him…then he suddenly remembered that young lady who had stolen his phone.
‘Jay…Jay its..its really you?’ he asked in an excited tone.
‘Do you know where my wife is?’ Jay asked with a frown, was this man trying to play with his feelings.
‘Everyone come see, am talking to Jay Brown over the phone’ The man yelled out and some people approached him, Jay got angry and hanged up.
‘Such a physco’ he clenched his fist angrily.

Tasha ate every meal that was bought to her as she didn’t want Manor to hurt the maids.
A young maid walked into the room with some outfits, the maid was about 12years old.
‘Manor requests that you freshen up and dress in this’ She handed the outfit and Tasha scanned through it.
She was then shocked, what type of night dress is this? She has never once dressed this way infront of her husband and Manor wants her to dress this way.
Tasha felt confused, if she refuses then this little maid will be tortured, but if she wears this then she will lose her dignity to a pig.
‘Ok I will go freshen up now, you can leave’ Tasha said and the young maid smiled in relief before leaving.
Tasha stared at her body, she had recovered completely well….Manor wont pity her coz she has recovered.
At first Manor gave her space coz she was pregnant, now she is feeling better and he wants to get all intimate, she do better die than let that monster touch her.
Tasha walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on.
She pushed all the gel bottles on the floor then screamed.
When Manor ran into the toilet with some maids, they found Tasha lying on the floor and crying in pain.
‘Call the healer now’ Manor said in a worried tone then ran to carry Tasha.
‘ahhh’ she kept crying out.
