The once quiet river bank was now populated with the villagers, some men helped pull the lady out of the river.
‘Is she still breathing? Valery asked in a shivering tone, Valery dreams is to become a world famous blogger that talks about celebrity’s hot news.
No one in this village can afford an android phone to watch news and also see the celebrities face, Valery in the other hand has seen the posters about all the celebrities and was also an offline fan of Lilination, so she followed anything that concerns Lili’s life and also prays to see her one day.
But now that she has seen the Diva here, she now had some doubts if it was really her, it can’t be her because the Diva is a famous musician and also an international actor’s wife, how could she be here. She must have thought wrongly.
‘Her pulse is really low, let’s take her to Manor’ a man suggested when Valery quickly intervened.
‘No, please am begging all of you present here, let no one let Manor know about this….i found the lady right? Then we will take care of her till she recovers’ she pleaded and the villagers whispered amongst themselves before agreeing with her, after all Manor was cruel and will not care about a common lady.
‘Fine, if anything comes up then inform us and we will be ready to help’ they said and helped in carrying the lady to the Miller’s home.
A traditional doctor tend to her and she also had a bruise on her leg, it looked like a bullet scratch.
And also she had hit her head real hard that she lost a lot of blood ‘what do you think happened to her?’ Mike whispered to Valery.
‘ Maybe she fell into the sea and drowned, many things could had happened’ she said and she also had plans of going to the nearest city through boat so as to get the latest newspaper on Lili coz there was just a lot of resemblance.
Mrs. Miller felt sad for Tasha but she didn’t want the risk of keeping a stranger in her house ‘Becca do you really think we should keep her? Am scared’ she asked her eldest daughter who was as confused as she was.
‘Mother I am scared as well, what if she is in some danger and the people chasing her locate this place, they might harm us all’
‘What are you talking about?’ Valery butted in with a frown.
‘This is rocksland village, it’s a remote area and that lady looks classy and also has some expensive jewelries on, don’t you think it was rubbery that brought her here? And even if she is in danger do you really think they will be able to locate her till this place’
‘Valery this is a serious case, and if Manor finds out we are keeping a stranger with us then he will definitely deal with us’ her mom tried reasoning with her but Valery was so stubborn, she had the feelings that this lady was the key to her success.
‘Mother please, if no one tells Manor then how will he find out? Immediately she gets well then we will send her away ok?’
‘You seem to be the one in charge of this household, do what pleases you’ Lisa gave up.
Jay was driving back home when he received an incoming call, it was Louis.
‘Hello sir, can we meet for some few minutes?’ Louis asked immediately Jay picked up.
‘Am sorry kid, really occupied now’ Jay said feeling tired, he needs to get home and then have a rest.
‘But it’s important….’
‘Ok let’s meet tomorrow then, later’ Jay hanged up and drove home.
When he walked in, he met Lili, Pete and Pecutie busy on their laptops.
‘What’s going on here?’
‘Dad, we are trying to find mom using technology, Pete is an internet freak’ Lili said and returned her attention to her laptop.
‘Thanks a lot kids, why don’t you ask Louis to tag along, he is a spy right?’ Jay suggested and Lili’s face darkened.
‘Uncle Jay, Lili has her doubts about that guy so we better not involve him’ Pecutie explained and he nodded.
Sara held her phone and walked towards them, she had a worried look.
‘How could she just run away from home?’ she said to the other person online.
Her voice was loud enough to everyone’s hearing.
‘What’s she now up to?’ Lili scoffed.
‘Ok here is an idea, try tracking her phone ok…don’t be sad am sure you will find her’ after discussing some more, she hanged up and approached the crew.
‘Hello you all’ she greeted then sat down.
‘Aunty what were you talking about tracking a phone?’ Pecutie asked seriously.
‘Oh that, it’s just my friend’s daughter ran away from home…can you imagine’
‘well, I told her mom to get someone to track her line….that’s probably the easiest way to find someone nowadays’
Pete stared at them before returning to his laptop.
‘she is right, I can just simply track aunty phone’ he said and kept typing some codes.
At first he thought it will take some hours to track her phone but it took just minutes and he was able to find the location.
‘found it’
Jay ran and approached him, the map was very visible and also insinuating that Tasha was still in the same town.
‘dad it’s just close by, let’s go there now’ Lili stood up and rushed to the door when Jay stopped her.
‘I will go alone, it might not be safe’ he said in a worried tone.
‘no dad, we found the location so we are coming along’ Lili insisted and sara approached them.
‘yes Jay, lets all come along so we can all help….many hands do easier works’ sara said and Jay had no choice but to allow them all come.
They got into Jay’s car with Pete directing them, after some minutes they dropped infront of a building….it looked classic.
‘are you sure its here?’ Jay asked suspiciously, he expected it to be an old factory or worst.
‘Yes uncle, lets go inside’
Sara had a huge smile, they all worked towards the gate and rang the bell….no one answered.
The gate was open, so they slowly and carefully found their way in.
There was loud music playing from inside, the house was a little messy with some gadgets displayes everywhere.
They could hear the shower running, so Jay went in to the bedroom.
A man just walked out of the bathroom with just a bathrobe.
‘Jay’ he was shocked to see Jay here.
‘Louis what are you doing here?’ Jay asked confused when Lili ran towards the bedroom.
‘we found the phone’ she held Tasha’s phone and got shocked when she saw Louis standing there.
‘I knew it’ she gritted her teeth angrily.
