.... Angela's pov....

I sat down on a stool close to me, contemplating about what just happened when someone tapped me at my shoulder.

I turned around and saw an old woman, she was looking at me with pity.

Hi my name is Angela, am the oldest maid around here and know each and every secret in this palace, I overheard and saw everything.

To be honest with, as Lucas wife, I will like to tell u a big secret about him which no one must find out.

Whenever he his angry, his eyes turns red and can put anything he set his eyes on, one fire. When he is happy, his eyes are gold.

He is called a demon sometimes, cos of his character, and he also controls 🔥 fire, darkness and can read people thoughts. This is all I can say, I will leave now.

  She left me even more shocked, confused and terrified. I was still thinking about everything when I slept off.

The next day, I was dressed up by some maids for the introduction ceremony. This was even their own tradition which I never knew about.

The new royal bride will have to perform the introduction, cooking  relational and lastly, sex ceremonies.

Soon my mother inlaw, the queen, came and took me to the dining table, were she would introduce me to everyone.

I saw the king, and his seven sons Leo, marvel, Henry, hafad, Desmond, Lawrence and Donald. And their wives. All were married except Donald and Lawrence.

Leo was married to Cynthia, marvel was married to Rebecca, hafad was married to Dorcas, Desmond was married to Charlotte, Lawrence was married to phenomena.

 After the introduction, was showed around the house, and I went to the garden to have some rest,I sat on the swing, when a beautiful woman appeared to me, I was dumfounded.

I almost fainted, she told me not to worry that she won't harm me. That she was my guardian.

Her name was Isabel,she was sent by the demons to help me understand my demon husband.

She said that Demons can be rough when it comes to sex, war and emotions when they have sex with anyone, their spirits will be combined and become one she said.

So does that mean that all his concubines has combined spirit and emotion with him, I thought to my self.

Then she laughed saying no, she said that he doesn't love them so their spirits can't be combined!

if he loves, then he will have sex and a war which he will fight together with his lover and if they succeed in the war with his lover, then they are meant to be.

She explained everything there is to know about demons, but how am I sure I can trust her.

After all the lessons she gave to me, she left, and I went inside the house, some maids were just looking at me as if I have lost my mind.

Am sure the saw me talking to Isabel and thought I was talking to no one, cos I and my husband are the only ones that have the privilege to see and hear her.

i didn't mind them and I left, by the way talking to Isabel was fun.

I went and started preparing for my cooking ceremony which will be held tomorrow, after that I went to my room and saw a new bed there, I knew it was my husband that changed it.

He greeted me and left the room, what is he planning to do now, I thought to my self.

I served the food on the dinning table, and everyone was enjoying it I guess, I received many compliments, and gifts from the king and queen.

But my husband didn't even look at me in the face, he ate and left the dinning.

Later that night I stopped him when he was about to leave only me in the room again, I asked him why he didn't give me any gift, but just replied saying I will soon know, he was about to leave again when I stopped him.

Why is it that u don't sleep with me, and where do u go every night, I asked.

I like ur courage u know, and am going to my concubines chamber, so let me go, he said and left.
