Bummer! Damn! They seriously couldn't ignore this minor mistake? He came all the way here just for this?
Oh shit! Come to think of, he came all the way here just for this! Meaning I'm dead!.
"Uhh... Sir.. We.. I.. " I stuttered, glancing at Bryan.
"You're disqualified and might be charged for sneaking into our company " he blurted out.
Dude at least let me talk!
"Sir please, we weren't allowed to go register for it and we really needed to participate in the competition so we had to sneak in sir " I explained and he just stared at me with a blank expression.
After staring at me first whole, saying nothing, he just turned and walked back to the limo.
Srsly?! He's not gon talk so I'd know if I'm reconsidered for it or not? Like he doesn't talk twice?
What kinda human is this?
"Sir " I said and run to the car.
They slammed the car door and the guards went in.
"Sir please consider us " I said, tapping on the window glass.
"Please don't disqualify us " I said as the car started and zoomed off.
Oh God! What the hell is this?!
Now we're in a complicated situation.
We don't know what his final decision would be.
I don't even know if his final decision was what he said about us being disqualified.
This dude really be so weird I was pull of his hair!
This is the human I've been crushing on? I'm disappointed with my life!
Bryan and I went in and resumed our duties with a long face all day long.
We are anxious, we don't know what's gonna happen now.
After a long sale, Bryan and I packed up to go home.
"My pay starts on Monday " Bryan blurted out.
"So? " I snapped at him.
"Just a peaceful reminder cause Monday is just in three days " he said and I arched an eyebrow.
"What? Today is Friday, tomorrow is Saturday, the day after tomorrow is Sunday then it's Monday dumbo " Bryan explained and I blinked rapidly.
"So quick? I thought we still had a long way to go before Monday " I asked.
"As I've said, Monday is in three days time " he repeated and I rolled my eyes.
"Thought I could get more from you for free for a long time before on Monday " I muttered to myself but I guess he heard it cause his reply was direct to what I muttered.
"Yeah you wish! Dumbo " he replied but I just ignored him.
For fuck's sake, I'm about to loose a $20,000 prize and I'm feeling sick already.
We took the left overs and locked the resto.
We boarded the same bud and headed to our various houses.
I got home and plumped down on the cushion.
This day can't be any worse.
"Are you so tired today Amy? " Cody asked but I just flashed him a smile with my eyes closed and my back rested on the cushion.
If I loose this opportunity, I think I'll go nuts.
"Here " I heard Caden's voice so I opened my eyes to see what he got for me.
A glass of chill water, cool.
"Thanks hon " I told him with a smile and took the water from him.
I gulped the water down and heaved a sigh of relief.
"I'm so tired and down tonight " I murmured and closed back my eyes.
"Let's go freshen up ourselves Caden " Cody told Caden and they turned to leave.
"Buh wait, y'all can't bathe yourself property " I told them.
"We will this time, trust us " Caden blabbed and I rolled my eyes.
"Aiit fine, I'll set the dinner " I told them.
They left to their room and I went to mine.
I stripped off and had a warm bath before coming to set the table.
After what seemed like forever, they came downstairs, dressed in their pyjamas.
I scanned them round and flashed them a big smile.
"OK you both did a good job cause I can see you both clean and Caden even washes his hair " I told them as they took their seat round the table.
I served them and put a bib round their neck cause I'm not feeding them so I don't want then to turn out a mess.
We all had dinner and retired to our rooms.
I asked them if they needed a story or any lullaby to put them to sleep but they declined saying I should go rest since I'm tired and down.
I kissed them goodnight night, and we went to our room.
I plumped down on the bed and slept off.

I woke up to the alarm but slept back cause it was Saturday.
Though I still need to go the resto but I don't have to be in a rush.
No one goes to work today so no one needs an early morning tea or coffee.
I slept for quite a while before getting up.
I freshened up, dressed up and went to their rooms but couldn't find them there.
I went downstairs and they were seated on the couch, watching TV.
"Good morning " I told them and they turned to their attention to me.
They rushed to me and hugged my thighs cause they were still kids and they're short.
They pulled away and went back to watching their TV.
"We already freshened up " Cody said and I raised an eyebrow.
"Yep! " Caden added and I chuckled.
I made breakfast with milk and we had it together.
I got set and left for work after setting the rules.
I arrived at work and Bryan was already there waiting.
I prolly need to give him a spare key but I'll do that on Monday.
I opened the resto and we started our daily business.
As usual, Bryan was at the door while I was at the credenza.
"These two kids are so crazy, wanna cross the road " Bryan pouted.
"Little kids? Wanna cross the road? That's dangerous " I told him.
"Yep! They got a careless mom " he blurted out.
I left my credenza and went out to take a look.
My heart skipped when I saw Cody and Caden crossing the road.
"Cody watch out!!" I screamed out my lungs but it was too late.
Right in front of my eyes, Cody was ran down by a van.
This didn't just happen, NO!!
