I couldn’t sleep all through the night cause I couldn’t stop thinking what might have happened to Bryan.
I just laid on my bed, trying his number over and over again but to no avail.
It was finally morning and as I got outta bed, the doorbell rang causing my heart to skip.
Who could it be this early morning?
My babies were still asleep so I went downstairs to answer the door.
I took  a deep breath before opening the door.
Bryan barged it and I rolled my eyes with a sigh of relief.
At least he’s still alive! He got me worried sick last night.
“What happened?” I asked him cause he looked all worked up.
And if Bryan is in my house this early then something is sure wrong.
“I know it” he breathed out.
“Uhm.. you know what?” I asked him, confused at his words.
“I know where your dad is holding Luca hostage” he blurted out and I froze for a moment, letting my brain process his words.
“I followed him. When I dropped the paper at the resto, I hid at a corner and watched your dad take it. I followed him and he’s hiding Luca at an abandoned house a little far from the town “ he explained further.
“So what now? I mean what do we do?” I asked Bryan.
I mean if we know where my dad is holding Luca then that’s a step up for us and it might make things easier for us.
I just wanna get this done with so I can live happily with my babies and celebrate their birthdays cause it’s around the corner.
“We go tel the cops now and they’d escort us to the abandoned house. They’d find a way to get in the house without being noticed and prolly save Luca before handling your dad” he said and I nodded.
“Let’s go” he said.
I held his arm and made him look back at me.
“Did you see Luca? “ I asked him softly and he nodded positive.
“How was he? Was he in a good state?” I asked Bryan.
“Uhm.. I can’t really say that cause it seems your dad is pouring his frustrations on him” he blurted out and I took a deep breath.
He has hurt my Luca, I know that.
“But what about my kids? They’re still asleep and haven’t even eaten “ I told Bryan.
“Uhm.. isn’t there a neighbor you can hand them to?” He asked.
“We’re new here Bryan so no!” I snapped at him.
“Fine then just wake them up and we’d drop them at Cindy’s” he suggested and I nodded.
I woke Cody and Caden up, brushed their teeth and made them tea.
We all went out and as said, I dropped them off at Cindy’s and asked her to take care of them till we get back.
Bryan and I went to the station, filed a complaint but a complaint has already been filed for Luca.
The sheriff further said that Luca’s parents had made it known in all stations about Luca.
After telling them everything, we got in the car and headed to the abandoned house.
I hope my Luca is fine, I just hope so.
Dad must have dropped a reply at my resto but who cares? We are going for the rescue anyway.
After an hour or so, we arrived at a messy neighborhood.
Bryan had told us to stop here so we’d walk to the abandoned house secretly so my dad doesn’t notice.
The cops got outta the car and after Bryan showed us the abandoned house, the cops splat ways and asked us to stay in the car and outta danger.
I wanted to follow them but Bryan held me back and made me stay in the car.
Another car pulled up and another set of cops came out with Riley and a man and a woman I presume to be Luca’s parents.
I got outta the car when I saw them and they rushed to us.
“Where’s my son?  The woman asked me.
Bryan showed the abandoned house to the other cops and they went too and left us to stay here.
“This is all your fault “ Riley seethed at me.
I ignored her cause all I wanted was to see my Luca alive and free.
I just hope the cops are successful with freeing my Luca.
