How am I supposed to decide now? Why does this have to happen to me? Why? My life is always a mess! It has always been a mess since mom left us! 

“Hey, you might prolly wanna go home and have a rest” Bryan said.

“Bryan I don’t know! I don’t know what to do!” I cried.

Cody and Caden came beside me and wiped my tears, asking me not to fry anymore.

They don’t even understand anythin!

Just how? How can I give up these angels to someone so despicable as him? No no no!

For who ? Luca? Why would I make such a big sacrifice for him? This might be being selfish but I don’t care! 

When it comes to my babies, I am this selfish.

Give up my babies? My Cody just came back to me and they’re still too young. 

Dad can never take care of them and I’m not ready to loose them either.

I pulled them closer and hugged them very tight.

No ones taking them from me, never!

I sniffed and gently wiped my tears with my hands.

“Come on guys, let’s go home “ I told Cody and Caden.

I looked at Bryan, waiting for him to say whether or not he’d go home or continue selling in the resto.

“Don’t worry, you just go rest with the kids and I’ll handle everything here “ he said with a smile and I nodded.

I tore the paper into pieces and dump it in the bin.

I held my baies by their wrists and we went to catch the bus.

We arrived home and I tucked them on the couch.

My mind was so occupied thinking of ways to solve the issues at hand.

I gave them cookies and juice and I went to sit at the balcony.

I need to find a way.

Should I even involve the cops? Will they help or get things worse for me? 

I should prolly call Riley maybe she’d be of help.

Damn! I don’t even have her number.

Guess I’ll wait for Bryan to come home so we’d think things through cause two heads are better than one after all.

Bryan closed from the resto and as usual, dropped by my place.

“So, have you decided anything yet?” He asked and I raised an eyebrow at him.

Is there even anything to decide in here? I have no choice cause no matter what I choose, I’m gonna loose someone.

“Loosing Luca is not a big thing anyway” he shrugged.

My eyes widened at his words and he chuckled.

“Just kidding just kidding “ he said with his hands in air in a surrender like.

I sighed and rested on the couch.

Cody and caden had fallen asleep so I had taken them to their room.

“We should involve the cops then “ Bryan suggested.

“You think?”

“Yeah! It’s not like we have any choice now, do we?” He said as a question.

“Ok first, we need to be very careful with this cause any mistake we have us regretting it for the rest of our lives” I told him and he nodded in agreement.

“But first, I need to give him a reply in a piece of and keep it in the resto as he instructed “ I said.

“Yeah yeah and he’d tel us where to meet to do the business and that’s where the cops would come in” Bryan added.

“Aiit fine, guess I should lie that I agree to give him Cody and Caden huh? “

“Yeah and after he tells us where to meet, we’d go meet the cops and tell em everything so he’d get arrested”

“Yeah yeah right “ I told Bryan.

“We have to keep the piece of papa lee there tonight “ Bryan said.

“Yeah, I’ll write it right away”

I got a piece of paper and a pen and wrote my reply.

I wrote that I agree to give Cody and Caden in exchange of Luca.

I just hope things go well.

“I’ll take it there since I’m going home as well” Bryan volunteered to go drop the paper at the resto.

“You sure?” I asked him and he nodded.

“Alright thanks “ I gave him the paper and after we exchanged our good nights greetings, he left.

Before he left, I had told him to call me after he drops the paper so I’d know he did.

It was late so I wanted to make sure he’d be safe.

I locked all the doors and windows and went it join my angels in bed.

They slept so early today and when they do this, they wake up at night to ask for food.

I guess I better be ready to give em food when they wake up.

I laid on the bed and placed my phone on my chest.

I wonder why Bryan hasn’t called yet.

I guess I should wait a little longer before my ass starts getting worried.

I felt so damn sleepy and weak, I couldn’t wait so I gave in to sleep.

Fast forward ⏩............

I felt a gentle touch on my cheek causing me to open my eyes then squint them again.

I gently rubbed my eyes and when I sat up, it was Cody.

“I’m hungry “ he pouted with puppy eyes like if I didn’t get him food now he’d cry.

I picked him up in my arms and went  downstairs.

I heated the food up before serving him.

I fed him and we went back upstairs.

I tucked him in bed and I laid down.

I grabbed my phone from the drawer beside me and when I switched it on, I gasped when I saw multiple missed calls from Bryan.

Omg! These missed calls are from last night, he called me so many times but why? It’s definitely not to tell me that he dropped the paper no.

I checked for a message but there was none from him so I got super worried.

I tried his number but it was switched off which freaked the hell outta me.

What could have happened for him to have called me so many to mes last night?

I hope he’s fine though.

Where can he be now?.
