"Have you reported to the cops? " I asked her and she nodded positive.
"We'll find him" I told her.
We are gonna find my Luca, no matter where he is.
"I'll go inform his mom and sister so there'd be more people to carry out the work " she said.
I nodded at her and she left.
I was so weak by this so I took a seat to have a rest.
After a while, we locked the resto and went home.
Bryan went to his house cause dad's on restraining orders so he can't get to Bryan as well and he doesn't even know where he lives.
The kids and I went to our new apartments cause the old one is still not safe for us.
We arrived home and went in.
Cody and Caden were so happy when they reached home and kept jumping cause of the birthday stuffs we've gotten.
Their B-Day is next week so I started getting ready so it won't be hard for me later on.
I bathed them and wore them their pyjamas then made them sit on the couch in the sitting room while o go freshen up.
I wore my pyjamas when I was done and came downstairs to microwave the food.
I finished and served ourselves dinner.
I fed my babies, ate and we all went to bed.
We sleep in the same room now cause we wanna be together.
I laid on the bed with Cody at my right and Caden at my left.
They were asleep but I couldn't sleep, my mind was occupied with thoughts of Luca.
I don't even know how he's doing or what the hell is happening to him now.
Why would he even leave just like that? He didn't even bother to call me and I thought I meant something to him.
He prolly just took a break from all these drama that has been unveiling itself.
Luca is fill of surprises and since his mom and sister doesn't even know about this, it means it ain't so serious and Riley is just being dramatic.
Who even knows if she just made that up? What if it's just one of her evil plans now?
Ugh.... I better sleep cause I've got a lot to do tomorrow not kill myself over Riley's words
I cleared my mind, closed my eyes and slept off.

I woke up the next day to my alarm ringing and I went to do my morning routine.
After doing that, I made breakfast and after breakfast I went to bath Cody and Caden.
I dressed them up when I was done and we had breakfast together.
We finished and went to catch a bus to the resto.
We reached the resto minutes later and I brought out the keys to open it.
I sighted a piece of paper under the resto door as I opened it.
Whoever put the paper there didn't know the way to the bin?
Caden squatted and took the paper before I couldn't so I just sighed and left it with him.
We went into the resto and Cody and Caden just kept running around.
I set the chairs and tables and made them sit on one while I went over to the credenza to get things prepared.
Bryan joined us moments later and soon, customers started swooping in.
I'd say cooking here has been a success and why wouldn't it be? I'm the best coom in the town so why won't I have people lining up to buy my food? I'm literally the best cook ever.
Mom would be so proud of me.
We started taking orders and making it while Bryan was serving them.
I already made French fries for Cody and Caden and I gave them juice too so they wouldn't disturb me.
"You seem happy today" Bryan said, sacarsm in his tone.
"Bryan! This is me every normal day!" I stated bluntly.
"I mean, you don't even look worried cause Luca is not in the city " he elaborated.
"Well, I don't know if Riley was saying the truth so I don't wanna risk it. We just got some freedom from dad and I wanna enjoy this little moment of my life and not keep sulking moments after moments for one thing or another " I told him.
He just stood there, gazing at me as if wanting me to go on.
"Maybe Luca just went on a break from everyone cause of everything we've been through and if he was really missing, it would be everywhere don't you think? He's a millionaire! The CEO of a big company and you think if he's missing something wouldn't have been done? He prolly told his workers not to make it none to anyone and I'm upset cause he didn't even call to tell me cause I thought I meant something to him" I blabbed.
Bryan gave me the familiar look that made me guess his next response.
"I ..."
"No, don't! " I cut him short.
"Told. You. So. " he completed, breaking down his words.
"I told you he isn't the guy for you " he added and I rolled my eyes.
"Just go do your work " I told him and he chuckled and left.
"Uhm Amy? " Bryan called from Cody and Caden's table.
"What again?! " I snapped.
"You might wanna see this" he said, waving the piece of paper Caden held earlier at me.
"No thanks, I already did" I told him.
"I don't think you have " he said and I gave him a stern look.
"It's about Luca " he blurted out.
"Wait what? "
I left the credenza and went to check out the paper.
"Dear Amy, took you long enough to notice your cute arrogant friend has been missing? Well, guess what? He's with me but don't worry, he's still whole and nothing is missing from his body at least not yet. And yeah, ready to negotiate, him for my twins. Leave your reply on a piece of paper and leave it where you got this " The paper read.
I felt so weak and my let's wobbled beyond me.
Bryan caught me just before I could fall and made me sit on a chair.
He got me a glass of water and I gulped it down immediately.
Dad has Luca? I can't believe I didn't think of that.
Luca in exchange for my two babies?
How the hell do I do that?
I love Luca but I can't give up my babies for him.
What do I do?
I involved him into all these and I can't just let him die nor can I give up my babies.
Cody and Caden are my everything so I cant.
"I can't " I whispered amidst tears.
"Bryan I can't " I cried.
"You gonna let your dad kill him then?" He asked.
"I don't know, I don't know anything " I cried out.
