Bryan and I ran upstairs to un room and when we reached there,it was locked.

“Why the hell is it fucking locked?!” I snarled and kept hitting the door.

“Caden baby open the door please “ I said, still hitting the door.

I was so damn scared now, he went in and locked the door?

“You locked the door, remember? “ Bryan asked and I sighed and glanced at him.

Oh yeah yeah, I had locked the door when Bryan and I were going downstairs.

Damn! I was so worried I didn’t remember I locked the door.

I immediately unlocked it with my hand shaking and ram in.

I picked Caden up and hugged him so tight.

Phew! That was so close! 

Ok this means, he’s not back and we were just getting worried over nothing.

“But hey, why were you screaming my name like that?” I asked Caden.

“I wanted to cuddle but didn’t see you on the bed so I freaked out “ he said and I hugged him.

I kissed his forehead and made him lay on the bed.

Bryan laid on his spot and I joined Caden on the bed.

“It’s ok, sleep now” I told Caden while cuddling him.

Hours later, it was morning but Caden was still asleep.

I sat up and looked down at Bryan only for our eyes to meet.......He didn’t sleep as well.

I used the bathroom first before Bryan and after that, I asked Bryan to stay with Caden upstairs while I quickly make breakfast.

I made the breakfast and went up to check up on Caden and Bryan.

Caden was already awake and Bryan was even dressing him up already.

Bryan had bathed Caden and was now dressing him up.

“Is it true I’m not going to school?” Caden asked when I walked into the room.

“Yeah” I told him with a smile.

“Yaay!” He exclaimed and started jumping on the bed.

“Bryan please hold him before he falls down “ I told Bryan and he held Caden down.

Caden was chuckling which kinda brightened up my mood.

We all went downstairs and went to have breakfast.

I still needed to go visit Cody the is morning and give him some home cooked food.

We finished our breakfast and I cleared the table while Bryan and Caden watched tv.

I served Cody’s breakfast in a food flask and asked Bryan to take care of Caden before I get back.

I boarded a taxi to the hospital and Cody was so happy to see me there.

I carried him up and kissed him all over.

He sat on the bed and I showed him what I brought him.

He was so happy which made me so emotional.

I started feeding him and he couldn’t kee still  which made it so hard to feed him.

“Cody please sit put “ I told him.

“Ugh!” I sighed when he continued making it hard to feed him.

He’s prolly just happy that I’m here and I’m feeding him once again but gosh! It’s just so stressful.

I finished feeding him and gave him water.

“Now wait here lemme go see the doc” I told him and he nodded.

I went to see the doc but he was busy with someone so I had to wait.

After some minutes, I was allowed to go see him.

We talked about Cody and he told me I can take him home now.

I was very happy and after filling the necessary forms and paying the bill through transfer, I went to meet Cody.

“Guess what?” I told Cody as I walked to him.

“What?” He asked and I rolled my eyes.

They never understand the meaning of guess even if I’ve told them million times over.

“Fine! You’re going home with me “ I blurted out and his jaw dropped.

“Yaay “ he said softly and I chuckled.

“You’re lucky your clothe is still here, you’d have gone home naked “ I told him and he chuckled.

I changed his clothes and we packed every necessary stuffs we needed.

I was given his medication and after we were done at the hospital, we proceeded to leave.

“Amy” Luca’s voice sounded in my ears and I froze on my spot.

I didn’t bother turning so he walked to my front.

“Yes?” I asked him.

“Uhm I...I just ..uhm” he stuttered and I sighed.

“It’s obvious you have nothing to say so if you’d please excuse me, I have to go “ I told him.

His eyes darted to mine and when I met his, it was soft which made me feel pity for him.

“Amy I’m sorry please “ he blurted out.

“K” I replied him and wanted to leave but he held me back.

“I really didn’t mean to tell you what I told you, I didn’t mean to disrespect your dignity like that so please forgive me “ he pleaded.

“Please?” He added when I said nothing.

I didn’t know what to say so I just looked down.

“I know I really hurt you and I promise to make it up to you just please give me the chance to” he said I’m a soft tone.

I gently nodded and a smile tugged on his lips.

My phone went off and when I checked it, it was a text message from an unknown number.

“Bring the cops to your house” the message read and my heart skipped.

The cops? Where? Is the is some kinda trap or something? 

Is this my dad? Is he there? Did Bryan use someone’s phone to text me this?

“What is it?” Luca asked.

“I..I have to take the cops to my house” I told him.

“Why” he asked.

I showed him the message cause I didn’t know what to relply to that.

“I’ll come with you” he volunteered and nodded.

I don’t even know what’s going on at my house now.

Hope my Caden is alright.

We went to the station and after telling the county sheriff about it all, the followed us.

We are currently in the cops car and my heart is pounding so hard it might fall off if I don’t see Caden any moment from now.
