I ran out of the company, ignoring Luca’s call.
I boarded a taxi to the hospital and when I arrived there, I ran to Cody’s ward.
“Oh oh! Here she is” my dad welcomed me with those words with a smile on his lips.
I was panting softly as I stood frozen to my spot.
I can’t believe after all these years, he’s right in front of me.
He sat beside Cody, his hand on Cody’s hair.
“What are you doing here ?”  I asked him with a stern expression.
“Oh chill little princess, I’m just here to check up on my son ayy” he said and laughed.
That evil laughter of his, enough to make the wires in my head spark.
“Get away from him” I warned him and he laughed more.
The doctor was just silent, watching the show.
“Oh c’mon, you’re my child too so stop giving me that look” he blurted out.
“How the hell did you even know Cody is here?” I asked him.
“I know everything, everything Amy” he said in a creepy tone and that for real made me scared.
“Leave now or I’ll have the security throw you out “ I told him.
“You sure you wanna do that?” He said and brought out a little dagger.
I gasped as he played with it, smiling at me.
He’s very dangerous and any wrong move from me can have me regretting it for the rest of my life.
“Now that’s more like it, you should always keep calm in front of me” he said.
“Ok now, I have to go” he said and got up.
“Oh wait” he said, squatted and kissed Cody on the forehead.
Those dirty evil lips of his.
“Bye Amy darling “ he said and exited the ward.
I heaved a sigh of relief and went over to Cody.
Oh God, I was so scared I almost broke down.
Cody needs a tighter security, I can’t risk it.
“I’m really scared for you Amy” the doc said and a tear slid down my left cheek.
The door to Cody’s ward opened and Luca walked in.
I wiped my eyes rapidly and kissed my Cody on the forehead.
What does Luca want now?
“Amy” he called and I threw him a deadly glare.
“Uhm, you forgot your phone” he said and stretched it out to me.
My phone had fallen from my hand when I heard my scumbag of a dad was at the hospital.
“Thanks” I said and took the phone from him.
I really have to go get Caden now and tell Bryan that he should continue to handle the resto alone.
I can’t, I just can’t risk it now.
I don’t know but we have to move out to a new place and I have to transfer Cody to a new hospital.
I have to go make arrangements but I’m so scared to leave Cody all alone.
Even the security guards can’t stop my dad from entering cause I knew he’d hold them at gun point...... I know how evil he is.
“Doc can I talk to you in private” I asked him cause Luca was still there.
He already gave me my phone so I don’t know why the hell he isn’t leaving.
The doc and I excused ourselves and I told him to get two cops to come guard Cody for today which he agreed on.
The cops arrived and I bade Cody goodbye.
As I left, I heard Luca asking the doctor who was the man he bumped into while he was coming in.
He started describing the man and it was none other than my dad.
I sighed and left the hospital.
Next week is Cody and Caden’s birthday and I’m so frustrated right now.
How Caden celebrate his birthday when his brother is still in coma? 
First, we have to find a new house and move out from here.
We’ll be back someday cause it’s our house but for now, we have to leave.
I have to get Cody to a new hospital so my dad won’t have access to him.
I went to meet Bryan and when I told him everything, he said he knows a vacant house that is for rent.
Told him to give me all the details which he did and he also gave me landlady’s number.
I called the lady and after much discussion on the phone, I decided to take the house.
It wasn’t so expensive which is good for me.
I haven’t even seen the house yet but Bryan said it’s big and I don’t really care about that, I just wanna move out so we’d be safe.
We have to be careful about all these cause if my dad says he knows everything about us, then he does.
I paid the landlady through bank transfer and I went home to meet Caden.
He had  just gotten back from school so I made him something to eat.
I bathed him and wore him some nice clothes.
I told him we were moving out and that kinda made him sad.
He sat on the stairs, so quiet as he watched me pack up.
“Baby” I called and went to sit beside him.
“We are gonna be back okay? This is our house but consider this as an holiday, like we are going to spend time somewhere else” I told him.
I hugged him and kissed his cheek.
“Now come help me pack up” I told him and he smiled and joined me.
 Bryan is gonna close early from the resto and come help us pack as well.
Half way through packing, my phone rang and it was from the doctor.
“Yes? Is he back?” I asked the doctor.
“No, Cody is awake” the doctor blurted out and it sound so loud in my ears.
My Cody is awake?
