I turned and headed to Luca. 
I took deep breaths as I walked to him and when I got there, I stood in front of him. 
He stared at me, waiting for me to speak up. 
"They haven't served us yet? " Riley asked as she takes her seat. 
"What kinda resto makes customers wait this long? "she snarled, looking at me as I was about to talk to Luca.
"Can we please have our order,  Amy " Luca asked. 
"Yes of course " I said in a nice tone. 
I went back to the credenza  and quickly made their order.
I passed it to Bryan and he went to serve them. 
More customers started coming in and I got so occupied making their orders so I just let go of asking Luca. 
Besides,  I see no reason why Riley should lie. 
I had lots and lots of customer that I was hella tired. 
Luca and Riley left after eating and Luca complimented my food while Riley was just burning with jealousy. 
Well, I don't care about Luca anymore so Riley can have him and that's if she doesn't have him already. 
I don't even know who the hell she is!  His sister?  Girlfriend?  Friend?  Well, I don't care anymore.
It was a giveaway today, I mean everyone who came in got free food and it's not like I've started officially so Bryan and I closed at 5:00.
On a normal day, we'd close by 8 but it's a free day so we don't have to stress our life hehehehe. 
Bryan and I shared the left overs and went to our various homes.
I arrived home and was welcomed by Caden with a very big hug. 
I laughed and picked him up to give him kisses. 
He chuckled and gave me back the kisses I gave him in a way it made me laugh so hard.
I dropped him on the couch and carried the left overs to the kitchen. 
Caden and I went to freshen up and after I bathed him,  I wore him some nice clothes. 
It wasn't yet out bedtime so we didn't have to wear our pyjamas already.
I bathed and also put on a jean and a shirt. 
We went downstairs and as Caden watched cartoons, I microwaved the food. 
After that, I wanted to make some cookies but after going through all the cabinets in the kitchen, I found out the ingredients were finished. 
Great! Just great! Now I have to go get the ingredients from a grocery store. 
The cookies are what keep Caden happy when he's home alone and waiting for me so I have to make it today.
Caden and I ate some food and we went out to grab the cookie ingredients. 
We arrived at the grocery store in a bus and went in. 
I grabbed the ingredients in a shopping bag, and we went to the milk side to get some milk. 
We are almost out of milk too so there's no harm in getting more in advance. 
"Let's get this one " Caden said and grabbed a milk from the top range. 
I had raised him up to pick a milk and the one he picked was so damn expensive. 
Is he serious? Damn! I'm gonna have to discipline this kid more. 
"No we are not getting that, we'll get our usual one " I told him. 
"I still like that one anyway so it's OK " he said and I smiled. 
I squatted and kissed his soft cheek.......he's just so understanding. 
"What a great coincidence " I heard a familiar voice say and I looked up to see Luca. 
More like a very bad coincidence. 
I stood up and forced a smile at him. 
"Yeah" I said and Caden and I turned to leave. 
"Amy wait" he said and I stopped and turned to him. 
"Yes? " I asked him. 
"Last time, you wanted to tell me something, right? " he asked. 
Oh, he's talking about when he came with that bitch Riley to my resto.
"Uhm no, no " I lied and he let out a soft oh. 
"OK, so...... "
"OK so I have to leave now, I've got things to do " I told him. 
"OK but.... "
"Bye " I cut him short and left with Caden. 
We went to the other side, grabbed everything we needed so fast and went to make the payment. 
We boarded a taxi and went home after making the payment. 
"Who's he? " Caden asked and I sighed. 
"He's the one who gave me the new resto, he's the CEO of a very big company" I replied him.
Caden and I went to the kitchen and I made him sit on the table in the kitchen while I got set to prepare the cookies. 
"Pass me the milk " I told Caden and he passed it to me. 
Caden was of help to me in the kitchen and after a while, we were done with it. 
We put some in a bowl and went to the sitting room to eat it while watching a movie.
Caden kept glancing at the window so I asked him what was wrong. 
"There's someone there " he said and pointed at the window. 
I looked at the window but saw no one nor anything. 
"There's nothing there Caden " I told him and we continued to watch our movie. 
It was night now and we'd soon go to bed. 
"Amy " Caden called, looking at the widow again. 
He seemed scared so this time, I had to take it serious. 
"Someone's over there " he said again. 
"OK fine, lemme go check it " I told him but he held my arm, not wanting me to go. 
Fear etched all over his expression but I smiled and kissed his forehead. 
"Caden, nothing is gonna happen just watch "I told him and went over to the window. 
The curtains were half pulled aside so I pulled it aside fully, opened the window and looked out. 
"You See? There's no one or anything out here " I told him and went to sit beside him. 
"I wanna sleep now " he said, he was still scared.
"Alright fine " I told him and made him drink from the glass of water on the table. 
I cleared the table and went to drop the cookie bowl in the kitchen and Caden ran after me. 
It was strange and it started getting me worried. 
I picked him up and came to switch off the television. 
A noise came from the window, as if something fell and my heart skipped. 
I glanced at Caden and I swallowed my saliva. 
I took slow steps over to the window and when I got there, I saw nothing. 
"Is anyone there? " I asked, looking everywhere but got no reply. 
I quickly closed the window very tight, pulled down the curtains and made sure the doors were well locked. 
"Who did you see there ?" I asked Caden. 
"Him " he replied. 
"Who? " I asked, looking around. 
"The man on the picture I showed you" he replied and I let out a tiny gasp. 
The picture of the man Cody and Caden were arguing about, saying it was their daddy and they had to come ask me who he was then Cody got into an accident. 
He's so dangerous, his motives are always bad and he doesn't have any good intentions towards us. 
OMG! That means, our dad is back? 
God! We are doomed!
