I was so confused as to what could have happened. 

I tasted the food before serving it and it was delicious so what's all these?

What's happening? Luca doesn't seem like he's gonna help me out on this one so what to do?

I can't loose this, no I can't.

"Wait" I blurted out and everywhere went silent.

I tasted the food I served the judges and immediately spat it out.

What the hell? The food was so salty.

"There's something wrong" I told them and they had that confused look on their faces.

"This isn't the food I prepared, there must be some kinda misunderstanding" I said.

" There's nothing like misunderstanding ma'am, you served the food yourself and we all saw the outcome of it so please leave" the speaker said.

" No, let her speak" Luca said.

"Someone must have added more salt to my food" I told them.

" Do you have proof" Luca asked.

I don't know if I have proof but I hope so.

I went back to the kitchen and they watched me as I served another food in a different dish.

I tasted it as it was ok, now I have proof.

I told them to come taste the one in my pot which they did and found amazing.

"How could this have happened?" They all wondered.

" This food is more amazing than the rest actually and I can't believe we missed this" one of the judges said.

Luca had a smile on his face, as it happy that I'm not gonna be disqualified anymore.

I was crowned the first and the person that was given the 3rd position was eliminated.

We got set for the second round and Bryan and I were so alert, there's no way we're allowing the incident that just happened to happen again.

They told us the dish we should make and after grabbing the recipes, Bryan and I got to work.

We finished, served the soup in dishes and the timer went out.

I was first to present mine this time and I didn't miss the smile the judges had on their faces when they tasted my soup.

The rest cooks presented and now we're all sitting ________waiting for them to call out the winner.

My hand and Bryan's were linked together, we were hoping for nothing but good news.

"So after everything and proofs, the tasty food we got, we've finally decided who the best cook in town is"The speaker started.

Oh please just go straight to the point!

"The winner of the competition is none other than Amy Caesar" she screamed and I Bryan and I hugged ourselves.

We made it! We did it! OMG we won!

The judges and congregations were clapping and I couldn't help but keep smiling.

We were called out to come claim our prize which we did.

We held the prize board which was written $20,000 and took pictures with the judges including Luca.

I was so happy and proud of myself.

We were congratulated by the lots of people and they said they're gonna advertise our resto as the best in the town and they'd give us a brand new resto for free.

Bryan and I were just feeling ourselves when Luca walked up to us.

"Congratulations" he said with a smile and I thanked him.

" Hmmmm" Riley cleared yet throat so we'd notice she was there.

I looked at her with a smirk and took my eyes off her.

"Congratulations" she said with a smile.

That smile was so fake I could see it, she's like a devil in human form.

"Yeah yeah whatever" I replied her and Bryan grinned at her.

Luca just smiled and looked down, not saying anything to the way I'm behaving with Riley.

Could she really be his girlfriend? No that can't happen.

"Let's go Bryan, I need to share the good news with Cody at the hospital"I told Bryan.

" He's not even awake yet " Bryan blurted out and I glared at him.

" He hears"I told Bryan.

They're gonna transfer the prize money into my bank account and from there I'll give Bryan his share and tomorrow, we'd go check out our new resto and set things up.

I bid Luca goodbye before Bryan and I took the bus to our various homes.

I made dinner for Caden and I _______ we freshened up, ate and took a cab to the hospital.

I told Cody and Caden the good news and we even spent the night in the hospital.

It was morning and my ringing phone was the one that woke me up.

I need no one to tell me that Bryan was the only one who could disturb me this morning.

Without checking the caller, I pressed answer and placed the phone on my ear with my head still resting beside Cody's hospital's bed.

"Why the hell would you call me by this time Bryan? Are you nuts? "I seethed into the phone.

" Amy? "The voice said at the other end of the phone and my jaw dropped.

It didn't sound like Bryan's voice ...... It was... Luca!

I took the phone off my ear and checked the caller, it was Luca.

"Ye.. yes sir?" I said into the phone.

"Please come to the office right now "he said and before I could say anything, he hanged up.

O... K? That was strange, what's it this time?

We kissed Cody goodbye and went home.

Caden and I tidied up, ate breakfast and I dropped him off at Mrs Morgan's cause she also got a kid that's Caden's age.

I left to the office and after a while, I arrived there.

I went up to Luca's office and his expression kinda scared me.

He looked angry which was scary.

Riley was in the office too, sitting on the sofa in the office and staring down at the floor.

"Sir?" I said to gain his attention.

"Watch this " he said and switched on the TV in his office .

My eyes widened when I saw Riley adding salt to my food.

It was a video of the competition and it was showing Riley adding salt to our food.

When she and her back to the food, she was adding salt to it.

I glanced at her and she her eyes were peering into mine.

I felt like pulling her hair off her head, I felt like smashing her head against the wall but I kept my calm.

What if she was really Luca's girlfriend and I do something to upset Luca?

I can't afford it, I already won the competition so it's okay.

Doesn't mean I won't pull her hair if I see her anywhere else though.

"I'm really sorry for that Amy and I already sent the video to all the judges and everyone participants just to prove you really deserved the position you got and to humiliate Riley for being so petty" Luca said and I nodded.

At least Luca did the right thing and everyone must have seen how evil Riley is.

"I'm sorry once again and this was the reason I called you " he said and I nodded.

"alright sir, I'll leave now " I told him and he nodded.

I threw Riley a really glare before leaving the office to board a bus to the resto.

Bryan has to hear this so we'd teach that Riley a lesson.

She doesn't know who she's messing with.

I really can't believe Luca could do that to me.

He humiliated me! I can't believe he'd do that to me cause of that good for nothing girl!

I won't spare her now, no I won't!

Luca must love her, that's why he did this to me.

He likes her that's why! She wants to steal my Luca away from me! I'll kill her, I'll kill her!

Tsk! What were they saying the other day?

She wants to go share the good news with ...... Uhm what's the name again? Cody? Yeah Cody.

She wants to go share the good news with Cody at the hospital? And he hasn't woken but he can hear? Tsk! Let's see how her life would be without this Cody.

I remember when Luca told me about their so called Cody, he's Amy's son and he's in coma at the city hospital.

I had asked Luca what Amy meant by sharing the good news to to Cody at the hospital and Luca told me about the boy in the city hospital.

Well, Luca made a mistake telling me about this and now they're not gonna like my next plan .

She's gonna be so devastated that she'd forget about Luca forever.

I just have to plot the plans well, I have to find a way to get into that hospital and cut off the Cody's treatment...... As simple as that.

I left Luca's office cause he couldn't stop giving me that disappointment look. I'll handle him later.

I went home and went up to my room to get the plans started.

I took my phone and placed a call to my boys.

"I have a new deal for you guys" I said into the phone with a smile.
