Chapter 1...☀

I arrived at the school, paid the chauffeur and headed towards the school gate. 
I was in such a hurry that I bumped into a woman exiting the school gate. 
"I'm so sorry, so sorry " I told her as I ran inside. 
I ran straight to the principal's office and when I got there, there was a mini crowd in there. 
Cody and Caden, their teacher, a boy the same age as Cody and Caden, the principal and a furious woman. 
I rushed straight to Cody and picked him up. 
"What happened to you? Did you hurt yourself? Did anything happen? " I asked him, scanning through his body. 
I gasped when I saw a tiny bruise on his forehead. 
"OMG! " I gasped, tears filling my eyes. 
"What happened baby?" I asked him but he was quiet. 
I dropped him down and faced the principal.
"What happened to my son? " I asked furiously. 
"Calm down Miss Amy, it was a minor accident " the principal said in a calm voice.
"A minor accident? You call that bruise on my son's forehead a minor accident? " I snapped at him. 
"So she's the mother of these two brats? " the woman who was in the office with us, blurted out. 
"Excuse you? " I said cause she better take back her words cause I'm finna beat the hell outta her if she doesn't. 
How dare she call my little angels, brats?
"Amy, Cody had a fight with Ian here " Cody's teacher said, pointing at the little boy who stood in front of the woman. 
I looked at Cody cause he's not the one to fight, he's the calmest and Caden is the most stubborn though they're both stubborn. 
"He started it, he pushed me first and I pushed him back then he pushed me so hard I fell and hit my head against the floor " Cody narrated and my jaw dropped in shock. 
He pushed my Cody so hard he hit his head against the floor? 
"Did...did...did y'all hear that? " I asked everyone in the office.
"I'm sure your son must have started, how dare he push my son?" the woman blurted out again. 
How arrogant!
I was boiling, so furious I had to push the woman so hard making her stumble backward. 
I was rushing over to her to give her the beating of her life but I was held down by the principal and Cody's teacher. 
"No lemme go! Lemme pull her hair so hard! Lemme make sure that ugly face of hers needs surgery " I snarled, trying to free myself from their grips. 
"Let's go Ian, she's a crazy woman " the arrogant woman said and exited the room. 
"Come back here, I'm not done with ya! " I yelled. 
She exited the office and I faced the teacher and the principal. 
"Mr principal! This is your school and you're solely responsible for everything that happens in this school so, how can you be so careless to have let my Cody get hurt like this? " I yelled at him. 
"Calm down Miss Amy, we're sorry for this and we assure you it won't happen again " he said. 
"Don't make me go drop a complaint against this school, you hear me? No one should hurt my babies, no one at all! " I seethed. 
"Yes ma'am, we're very sorry for this "the teacher replied. 
"we already treated his bruise, it just have to be plastered since he lost consciousness at first and that's why we called you " the teacher blurted out. 
"He what? He lost consciousness? And you both didn't let me pull of that woman's hair? God! " I snarled through gritted teeth.
"We are sorry Miss Amy " the principal said. 
"Ah! Enough with these sorrys, I'm taking my babies home " I stated. 
"But school isn't closed yet " the teacher said. 
"I don't care! I don't f*cking care! My Cody needs proper treatment so I'm taking them home to give him that and you're filling his register as 'present in school today' cause all these happened right under y'all noses and it's y'all fault! 
I held my two kids and we matched outta the office. 
Wish I saw that arrogant bitch, I'd have scattered that ugly face of hers. 
I took their backpacks and we went to the bus station. 
A bus arrived and we boarded it. 
Mins later, we arrived home and we went in. 
I didn't bother taking the spare key from our neighbor cause I'm home with Cody and Caden and they only need the spare key when I'm not around. 
I took them up to their room and bathed them. 
I dressed them up in shorts and singlet and made them wear their flip flops. 
They always wear the same thing, they're twins after all.
I made Cody sit on the couch downstairs, while I went to get the first aid kit.
I came down with it and tended to Cody's bruise. 
I put a cartoon plaster on his bruise and kept the first aid kit back where I got it. 
"Are you going back to the resto? " Caden asked and my eyes popped out. 
Gosh! I left Bryan at the resto with the customers.
"Can we come with you? " Cody asked. 
They already know the answer to that which is no! 
"Please" they both chorused with puppy eyes. 
"No, you both stay home, take a nap or watch TV as usual " I told them. 
"No please! " I told them just before they could chorus it as always. 
"No coming out from the house as usual, I've got a Cam at the doorstep and if anyone disobeys me, you both know how crazy I can get " I told them. 
"Off to the resto now, love you both " I blew them kisses and walked out, slamming the door behind me. 
I went to Mrs Morgan and asked her to please check up on my babies time to time. 
I boarded a bus and headed to the resto.
I'm for real sure that Bryan has turned my resto into another thing and chase away my customers. 
I got to the resto, went in and my jaw dropped at the sight in front of me.
