Forced Marriage (Episode 50)

Chapter 50

Walking slowly towards the door, she could hear her baby laughing. A smile crept on her face immediately, she headed inside the house. Her heart pumping fast could only be cooled by her.

She walked in and waited. Looking at her daughter playing through the passage way.

"Mommy!!" she shouted upon seeing her mother. Running to give her a a big hug.

"Baby," she looked at her, gettle removing the hair away from her face and gave her tiny kisses in her face.

"Baby girl?"

"Yes. My baby girl." Aurora smiled looking back and fourth.
"Where's Aunt Melo baby?"

Aurora pointed out to the kitchen. "Come on," she picked her up and went to the kitchen.

"Melo?"

"Miss Lauren, you gave me a fright," she said turning to face them.

"Sorry about that. How's everything?"

"Everything is alright. I thought you would be a little bit late."

"No, apparently, I'm much earlier. Melo, I want to thank you truly."

"That's okay. It's my job after all."

"No, I'm truly thank you. You risked your life for my daughter's sake. If it weren't for you, she would probably be dead by now... I have no words to explain how I feel."

"Your child is an angel Lauren. And I wouldn't trade her for the world."

"True. So angel, want to play with mommy," she tickled Aurora bringing laugher and noise inside the house.

...

"Hey."

"My love. Are you okay?" Liam looked at Ruby. She was stunning as always.

"I'm okay. Better than okay." she went straight to his arms.

"I'm really glad all the troubles with my brother has been uplifted."

"It wasn't easy finding Sydney. That woman is crazy."

"Haha, very funny." Ruby rolled her eyes.

"Seriously, no wonder why many men run away from her. But this time, atlist she's with her type."

"I'm just glad that my brother has stopped bossing you around. So are you really leaving tomorrow?" She asked looking at her with pleading eyes.

"Yeah, I have to go. But I'll return soon. I can't miss anymore of my classes or I'll be thrown out," he looked at the stars wishing that the was another way to stay with her.

"I'm going to miss you so much."

"I'll miss you too babe... Do you still want to go to the festival?"

"No, I rather spend my whole night with you."

"Alright. So where do you want us to go?"

"Your place is fine. I," a small blush appeared in both their faces looking at each other.

"Lets go," they headed to Liam's place.

...
...
Melo had left the house, now it was Aurora and Lauren together. Mrs Hughes had come earlier and checked on little Aurora. She was so happy to see Lauren back and serve the news of why she never talked about her pregnancy in the beginning.

Again, she would remind Lauren of the other reason why this house was built. Lauren couldn't help but think of the olden days when she was staying in this house.

The first time she met him who gave her this blessing. She didn't even realise that she was smiling, and missing all those beautiful moments she once had.

The sun had already set now. But the time didn't feel enough for her. She had so much to fix. And probably for life to fair to her again.

Suddenly she heard a car outside and little Aurora ran towards the door surprising Lauren.

"Baby? What are you doing?" She asked looking at her with a smile.

"Daddy. Daddy," she jumped up and down in excitement. With that, she knew that there was nothing she could do. All she had to do is accept the truth.

Danny came in and his first reaction was to take Aurora in his arms. It felt good to look at the view of a father and daughter.

"Lauren," he greeted looking at her.

"Hi, Danny," she looked at him but looked away immediately. Feeling a bit shy to be seen by him after all the news she got from Jay.

All those words he had said were still ringing in Lauren's head. To know that her ex husband would kill people just for her happiness, and she didn't even bother to give him an ear so she could explain himself.

"I'll go warm up something for you," she said leaving the living room and headed to the kitchen immediately.

"Daddy is coming. You stay here, okay pumpkin," he placed Aurora on the couch and headed  to the kitchen as well.

Lauren turned to see Danny standing at the kitchen door staring at her.
"Lauren, can we talk for a minute," Danny asked seeing that she was avoiding her.

"Umm... I don't kn..." she said hesitantly.

"Please, it won't be long."

"Yeah sure." she agreed and Danny got closer to her.

"I don't want you to think that I..."

"Can you please explain to me why you killed Amber. Though I was told, I still want to hear it from you," she cut him off not knowing why she even did that.

"Ohh... You've heard." He looked away for a minute then turned to Lauren again. "Lauren, it was either I kill Amber or she would have killed you. I had no choice but to end her in order to create a safer and better place for you."

"Mm...I see. Well thank you. Truly."

"As I was saying... I know you're asking yourself that why wasn't I the one to rescue you and believe me Lauren, I had to protect Aurora first. I already knew that Aaron wouldn't do any harm to you. But he would to our daughter. That's why I sent someone to blurb about you and Aaron getting married in front of Sydney. That woman's obsession on Aaron is the same obsession Amber had on me. No matter what, she would have found a way to destroy the wedding."

"And Jay?"

"He wasn't part of the plan at first because I didn't know he had returned. When Ryan told me he was looking for information, I knew he would make it easier since he is working together with Aaron on some certain projects."

"Well, that's in the past now, isn't it."

"Yes, but Lauren. I don't want you to think that...." Danny paused when he saw Aurora standing at the kitchen door.

"Ohh pumpkin, come here," he immediately picked her up.

"We'll talk next time." Lauren said looking at how happy Aurora was. And she wouldn't trade her for anything in this world.

....
Staring at the ceiling, Liam couldn't get enough of himself. This girl sleeping next to her made it feel as he was stuck in a dream where he never wished to wake up from. He remembered the first time she saw her walking down the school hall. If felt as if there was no one else around them, all he could see was her.  He even forgot what he wanted to take in the locker and ended up following her. Everyone laughed at him that very day.

"Dude, forget about ever getting her. You have a girlfriend and she is the millionaires daughter. You don't even fit for her quality." He remembered one of his friends telling him these words. But there way he felt had changed everything.

Again, he remembered when he got a text coming from her. He felt as his his mind was playing with her, but at the same time, it brought many melodies in his heart. She became his inspiration. He didn't even know that he would be given a chance with her till this very stage. But here she was today, with her. It felt like a dream and reality at the time.

"Hey, is everything okay?" She asked seeing that he was awake.

"Don't worry. Everything is fine," he answered cuddling her.

"Alright. But you're now making me want something," she said being naughty, biting her finger in a sexy way.

A smile crept on his face realising what she meant, and immediately, she covered themselves with a light sheet.
