"Buy your cold pure water. Buy your cold pure water." Abigail advertise. She is lucky to have sold almost everything. It remain just a little and she will be able to go home. Her brother must be hungry.

Selling pure water in traffic is not easy, she had to make sure she does not get hit by Napep or Bike.

It is only God that helped her sold the ones she sold, and despite being a first timer, she really did well.

After selling the remaining ones, she went back to the woman's shop to pay for the ones she bought on credit this morning.

"Ma, thank you so much for selling to me this morning. Despite the fact that you do not know me , you still helped me, thank you so much ma." She appreciates the woman.

"Where is my money?" The woman ask without bothering to respond to her gratitude.

Abigail count the money and gave the woman the money she owe her.

The woman collect the money from her and quickly put in a safe place, it as if someone will snatch it if she didn't keep it.

Abigail thank her and is about to go when the woman's word stop her.

"I have a better job for you, if you know you will be able to do it." The woman said.

Joy! Can be seen on her face, she really doesn't mind if sees another well paying job, at least she will be able to save out of it to rent another house.

"Of course ma, as long as it is not stealing."  Abigail respond.

The woman stare at her from top to bottom, bottom to top. Assessing her, wether she can really do the job.

"Well, my friend has a club, and she need a young girl to serve there. To put it in a blunt way, An escort. Can you do it?". The woman asked her.

Ahn! Escort? 

Abigail is a beautiful girl. She is really endowed. Dark in complexion, beautiful white teeth. She's a really beautiful girl.

Abigail shook her head. "I'm sorry ma, but I can't do it."

"You can't do it?.." The woman sneer. What a rude girl. I'm offering a job! That will pay her so much as well. Yet she is refusing. Ungraded girl!

"What of those that are doing it? Do you think you are better then them. What a rude girl!."

"Don't let me see you come back here again. Leave, I do not do business with ungrateful people especially bastard girls like you." The woman insulted.

Abigail was shocked! 

"But ma, it is not up to that. Please don't do this to me." Abigail beg.

"Are you the one that will tell me it's not up to that? Are you in your right senses? Oya get out!" The woman push Abigail away from her shop. 

People begin to wonder what could have happened. Abigail has no choice but to leave. Yet, another bad encounter! 'Am I really fated not see helpers?' She look at the money in her hands, at least they will be able to eat dinner from it.

The moment Abigail left the woman's shop, Mama Emeka comes in.

The woman wonder who she is, And she ask. Mama Emeka reply " I'm her neighbor. That's why I came to warn you. Assuming I knew when you gave her the water to sell, I wouldn't have allowed you to do it".

"Thank God you quickly send her away. She brings bad luck to people." Mama Emeka criticize Abigail.

"Really? So she has that kind of thing in her life? Well, have sent her away, she can't do anything here. " The woman said.

"It's good like that, people that help her always die. That is why I came to warn you, don't help her at all. And thank God you've sent her away."

"Thank you for warning me." The woman thank her.

"You're welcome. Let me quickly be going." Mama Emeka also left the place.

'silly girl, you think you can win against me? I will fight you till you and your stupid brother die.' Mama Emeka thought.

At home, Abigail has already bought what they will eat. And they were eating when her brother suddenly ask her why their mom left them

Abigail stop eating and look at her brother. How is she going to explain that it is because their mother did not love them? Or because she is also of the believe that they also bring bad luck?

It's hard to explain!

With his soulfully eyes, he continue to wait for an answer.

Abigail sigh before she starts explaining in the little way she could.

"Babyyyy how many time will I tell you? Mama left to work so she can provide for us. You know she loves us very much." She tried to say without tearing up.

"Really sissy? But when I came out to play today. Emeka said my Mommy left because I'm a bad luck." Her brother said with tears rolling down his cheeks. 

"Hey. Sam, don't mind them. They are just jealous of you because their mama did not go to work. Don't worry Mama is coming back very soon."

Sam nod his head, without saying anything again and continue eating. Abigail also continue eating. After that they both went to lie down. 

"Goodnight sissy."

"Goodnight baby Sam.".

In another place it's not a lovely night for them.

"Davis, will watch untill my son die from this sickness??." Mrs Davis hit her husband chest while crying.

"He will be okay honey. Try to be calm." Mr Davis try to console her but she us having none of it.

"Calm? Where is the girl? Have you seen her? No! And you're telling me to be calm? We need the girl for my son to be free. We can pay her ok!" She shouted.

Mr Davis run a hand through his bushy head. This is also tough for him but no matter what. He will get the girl.

A maid quickly run to meet them.

"Madam, young boss dey vomit blood on."

What?.

Blood!.
