The Dark Valley (Episode 52)

* THE DARK VALLEY *

                  { Chapter 52 }

           After evanil went I could feel my mind getting traumatized.

         I was worried about what she would do.

         But the main issue is what did Troyal promised her. I don’t know what Troyal might have promised her but I will not let her go near the king.

        "Your majesty, the king has sent for you at the royal dinning room ", my personal guard came in and announced to me.

         I hurriedly adjust my dress properly to look majestic.

          I walked out of my room going to the dinning. As I walked three other guards were excorting me to the dining.

       I guessed Draphel might have asked them to follow me around as the queen.

        But am still wondering what I can do as a half demon.

       I will have to find that out from Troyal.

       As I entered the dining, I saw how Astrain , Alkil , his fiancée and their father kept staring at me.

       I just looked away avoid to meet with their eyes.

     Coincidentally my eyes collided with Draphel’s.

        "Come sit here Wiffey “, Draphel called out to me pointing to a chair by his side.

         I laughed internally as I saw the look on Alkil’s face when Draphel called me Wiffey.

      I just kept calm and walked towards Draphel and sat down quietly.

          "What would you like to eat”, he asked me.

        "Ummm…spaghetti sauce and scrunched egg.

         

         *CLAPS TWICE * he clapped his hands twice to call for the chief.

       The chief walked in with his head bowed down.

        "I need you to make a human meal. Spaghetti sauce and egg”, Draphel order.

         "Can you also make me a chocolate cake “, I asked.

        "Anything for her majesty ", the chief replied me and walked away.

        "I think you are starting to accept your new life huh?”, Draphel teased me pinching my face.

       "Swtop ", I said childishly.

      "Awwwn, look at how cute my Wiffey is, swtop", he teased before mimicking me.

         

        I knew he was doing this to make the rest of the royal family angry. I just pushed his hands of my face and pick up a food and stuff it in his mouth.

         "Just eat and stop teasing your newly bride “, I laughed out.

        "You can’t force me to eat. Now am going to teach you a lesson for trying to force me to eat”, he smirked.

        "Don’t you dare do anything ", I looked at him as I knew he was definitely going to do something.

        He immediately inserted his index finger into the chocolate cake that the chief just walked in with and rub it on the tip of my nose.

        "Hmmm”, I growled angrily forgetting the people that were around us.

       I put my hands into the cake and rubbed it on his cheeks and laughed seeing how his face turned from laughter to shock.

         "You are definitely done for”, he stood up ready to rub some cake on my face but I was fast enough to run off from the seat.

       

        "What can you do", I asked playfully stand 30 feet away.

        "Just watch and learn ", he said running after me.

  

       I took off immediately and ran as well but the shocking part was that I could run fast.

        I paused in surprise as I showed Draphel how fast I was.

        "What just happened “, I asked looking at myself from head to toe.

         "I see you gat telekinesis “, Draphel said not surprised.

         "What is that”, I asked curiously.

        "It’s a demon power which makes you very fast but still no matter how fast you may be I will definitely catch you ", he smirked.

      

       Before I could run further I felt Draphel pounced on me.

      We both fell on the floor laughing not knowing the eyes that were still watching us.

        "I finally got you”, he laughed out. 

       

         I really loved watching him laugh, he has probably gone through a lot that wants to make him kill him self.

 

          "I can still get away from you “, I challenged as we were still in a tight position on the ground.

        "I will not let you go “, he said holding me more tightly.

         "Argh!!, I think I have lost my appetite ", we heard Astrain growled in anger before walking out.

      I just rolled my eyes and continued with our play. I was doing this to make Alkil jealous but now I am only doing this to make Draphel happy.

         "Come on Wiffey, it’s time to eat", Draphel said before lifting my on his arms and carrying me back to the sit.

         

        This is the fourth time he was carrying me this way today and I couldn’t help but blush.

          Immediately he kept me on the seat he began feeding me with his hands.

        It just felt like the food got more delicious as he used his hands to feed me.

         I couldn’t help but stare at his eyes as he fed me with love.

         Does Draphel love me, is doing this just as a friend or just to make Alkil jealous. Why do I feel like he is doing this to satisfy himself by making me happy.

         Is he caring for me as a friend or as a lover. Why I feel like he is in love with me. 

        I wondered internally as I was undergoing some brain trauma. I don’t know what to think of Draphel anymore.

             Some times he’s sweet and sometimes he can be harsh.

         I think I like him and not Alkil.

         ***********************

         After we ate Alkil and his father finally left the dining room in anger.

         I saw Draphel smiling with a face of victory. I felt so happy watching him smiling. I wish I could make this smile of his last forever but I have to go back home no matter what.

        "When should I come help you take your bathe today”, I asked .

        "You don’t have to. You are the queen now and I have ordered for two new personal maids to take care of that", he said which made me boil in jealousy.

        How could he let some other girls touch his body. Doesn’t he know he is already married, I said to myself.

        

        "Did you say something “, he asked.

       "No I did not “, I smiled awkwardly.

        "Ohh okay. You need to pick two maids who will be in charge of your body and health as a queen ", he said to me.

       "Really “, my face shone in happiness.

       "Yes, I would have selected two demoness for you but I know you are not completely comfortable with demons yet so it would be best if you pick human maids yourself ", he explained.

      

        I was happy because I could choose my friends to be my maids then they will have to be with me all day.

       **************( Draphel’s POV )***************

           After me and Rachel had that ritual, I could see the pain she had on her face.

       I knew she wasn’t happy being a half demon and I will make sure to get her back to her full humanity back.

          I took her back to the palace and I saw how she became happy seeing her new room.

        I couldn’t help but stare at her beautiful face as she twirled around the room.

         But as I was about to have a good time watching her astroid disrupted us as usual and I knew he wouldn’t disturb me if it wasn’t important.

       So I just left Rachel alone asking four guards to watch her.

      

       I walked to my chamber to find the old witch, the chief of warriors and Alkil and his father seated.

         

        "So why is my attention called here “, I asked emotionlessly as I sat on my throne.

       "I just wanted to inform that Rachel has got more powers than you can ever imagine “, the old witch said to me.

        "And that’s all thanks to you. Why didn’t you inform me about the enternity bonding and that Rachel would become a half demon “, I said angrily.

          "If I told you, Alkil would have taken the throne because you wouldn’t get anyone to marry “, she replied looking at Alkil.

      "Am not so bad at taking over the kingdom “, Alkil said.

       "It’s not your destiny to rule which means the moment you become the king every living creature on this world would perish “, the witch replied.

        "But at least you should have given me a warning “, I said understanding what she had done was right.

         "What is done is done. Now we just have to concentrate on Rachel because she has become extremely powerful “, the witch continued.

       "We know royal blooded demons are powerful “, Alkil’s father butted in.

       "Don’t misunderstand my statement, I mean she is more powerful than any other royal blooded demon ", the witch explains.

     "Is she more powerful than me “, I asked worriedly because I knew how dangerous my powers could be.

       

       What if she had gotten more powerful than me, that means her life and the people around her would be in grave danger. 

     I knew how long it took me to get hold of my powers but even till now I don’t fully have control of it.

         "She could be. We just have to look after her every movement ", the witch looked at me in the eyes worriedly which was scaring me.

        

                For the first time after years I am scared of losing someone important to my life.

        I just can’t sit and watch Rachel put at life at risk because she wants to save the ungrateful demons.

       I will definitely do my best to watch after her and her powers.
