* THE DARK VALLEY *

                    { Chapter 49 }

            Before Anthony could say anything his cousin walked in.

         "Hi am Veronica ", she smiled and waved her hands to me as she entered.

          I just looked at her with jealousy as she entered.

        "Ohhh come on, don’t give me that look. I had saved your ass yesterday ", Veronica said.

         "Thanks for that", I rolled my eyes.

       "Patricia I will answer every single one of your questions ", Anthony said sadly as he watched me looking angry and jealous.

           "You don’t have to explain a thing. Let me do the honors of it", Veronica said to me.

        "I don’t care who does the explanation, I just need answers ", I said angrily.

          "Baby girl, you mat....I mean your boyfriend really loves you a lot ", Veronica said.

          "If he loves me then he wouldn’t ignore me and even deny the fact of knowing me", I said in pain.

         "He denied you in front of me because he was scared I would inform our family about it", she continued.

         "Why would you be scared to let your family know about us", I was getting more pissed off.

          "Actually my family aren’t on good terms. They are always looking for ways to kill or hurt each other ", she replied for Anthony.

         "How does that affect ignoring me", I asked as tears rolled down my eyes.

        "If he informed anyone in our family about you, your life might be in grave danger ", she said.

          "Am sorry my love, I just couldn’t bear the act of losing you to some stupid family war", Anthony said as he pulled me in for a hug.

   

         "But why didn’t you call me on my sister’s birthday party after you left. Why didn’t you wait to see me before you left", I asked hugging him back.

          "I did wait to see you but from a corner. I couldn’t come near you at that moment because of what had happened a day to the party ", he said sincerely.

        "What do you mean “, I asked pulling away from the hug.

       Anthony looked at Veronica which she understood we needed our privacy. Thankfully she understood and left without saying a thing.

   

         "Ever since we had some sexual related stuff. I have always been tempted to pin you right down and make love with you………your body drives me crazy no matter what kind of clothes you wore. I just can’t help imagining doing some crazily erotic things to your body. I badly want to hear your moans again”, he confessed after Veronica walked out.

        I just blushed knowing he had such thoughts about me on his head. He is unknowingly seducing me right now.

        To be sincere I also want to do those things he just mentioned too but my parents wouldn’t want me sleeping with him without marriage.

         "I am so happy to know you still love me. I thought you had stepped on my feelings and joked with them", I said happily.

         "I will never joke with your feelings. I love you more than I love myself. Tampering with your feelings is just like deliberately tampering with my life", he said looking at my eyes without breaking eye contact.

            I just couldn’t help but kept blushing harder. I was so surprised at his sudden confessions.

        

         "I love you ", I said to him.

            "What did you just say”, he asked me in shock hearing me say that to him for the first time.

          "I said I love you ", I told him again.

        "I love you so,so much ", he carried me up and swirled me around.

        "Stop now or I’ll get dizzy. I need to go take my bath and prepare to go home ", I said laughing in happiness.

               "Alright my love. But can we bathe together “, he asked me after dropping me down.

          "No, we can’t. Something might just happen ", I smiled pushing him out of the room.

           "Are you scared I would make you crave for my touch ", he said seductively.

         "Am not scared of that “, I claimed.

         "Then are you afraid I would make you moan ", he continued to seduce me.

         "Just stop and go out “, I finally pushed him out of the room.

        "Don’t do this my love, let’s just take one bathe together “, he smirked seductively and I knew he was teasing me.

         "Babe you should stop teasing me or else ", I tried to threaten.

        "Or else what”, he asked.

           "You will have to find out about that yourself ", I said and slammed the door locking him outside.

        **************( Anthony’s POV )**************

         I wanted to tell Patricia the whole truth about myself but Veronica told her. But she only said a few things, she did not tell her the actual truth.

          After Patricia pushed me outside, I walked to Veronica’s room to discuss with her.

          ”why didn’t you let me tell her the whole truth ", I asked in anger because I just literally missed the chance to let Patricia know the truth.

          "Are you insane. Remember we can’t let humans know we exist and leave in their midst ",she smiled and said.

          "She deserves to know who she is in love with ", I said.

            ”if she knows about it, she will tell everyone that you are a demon which might end up exposing us", she explained.

          "But what if she finds out later on. She would definitely hate me", I said.

           "Don’t worry about that, I got that covered…but we still have an unfinished business ", she smiled wickedly.

         "What business are you talking about “, I asked giving her a deadly look.

           "I already know about Patricia, so if you want me to keep this as a secret then you will have to talk to my parents about letting me stay here”, she said.

         "What?? You know everyone in our family hates me ", I tried to explain to her.

         "But they always do as you say because they are scared of you ", she stated the facts.

         "Fine, I will do it but you have to make sure to treat and take good care of Patricia ", I also gave my condition.

         "Well then it’s a deal", she brought her hands forward for a hand shake.

          "Yeah, it’s a deal”, I shaked her hands.

        **************( Rachel’s POV )**************

         We finally got to the palace, as we landed we met tons of guards already waiting in place for us so they could attack.

       The moment we landed they all pointed their swords to us.

       "Is that the way to welcome your king and your new queen ", Draphel said as his emotions darken.

         Immediately all the members of the dark troven stood in front of us to defend us.

       According to what Draphel told me, he said the dark troven was made up of the strongest and loyal guards.

           I knew they were strong enough to defend us but they are much fewer than our enemies.

            "Where is the new queen, I can’t see her. The only girl I can see with you is Rachel ", Alkil said as he walked forward.

        "Well what do you think ", Draphel smirked at him.

           "You can’t just come back here overnight and claim Rachel is your wife “, Alkil said angrily.

          "She is my wife. You can ask her that yourself ", Draphel replied Alkil as he puts me down gently.

         "He is my husband ", I finally said.

         "Rachel you don’t have to lie about it. I know he might have forced you to saying all of these things ", Alkil tried to get closer but the dark troven blocked his way by protecting me.

         "Nobody forced me into saying anything. You can check it yourself ", I said as I threw him a copy of our marriage certificate.

       He caught it and diligently read it over and over again, his jaw dropped in shock and I could see tears filling his eyes.

          "Did he threaten you to marrying him or did he promise you something so that you could marry him", Alkil said after a long silence.

         "He did not do anything like that”, I defended Draphel.

         "We got married based on each other consent and one more thing we love each other and it wouldn’t be nice if you say anything against my husband ", I said in anger.

         

        Draphel’s jaw dropped as he heard me say the word love.

        He did not know what to say as he was in shock.
