* THE DARK VALLEY *

                { Chapter 43 }

          Before I knew what was going on, Alkil threw Draphel a punch in the face.

           It landed on Draphel’s face who felt like nothing happened to his face.

         Immediately Draphel retaliated by kicking Alkil in the stomach which threw him on the ground.

        I couldn’t bear what was happening at that moment. I don’t want to be the reason why two demons hurt each other.

        "Stop!!”, I screamed out loud but it just seems as if I was just talking to myself.

         Alkil stood up running with force towards Draphel.

           Draphel punched him by two sides of his ribs and held his neck facing his head downward and punched him in the stomach twice.

          Alkil elbowed Draphel’s hand from his neck and punched him on his chest.

           Draphel just smirked due to the fact he wasn’t fighting with his might.

          Alkil was busy using all his strength and might to fight but Draphel just seems to be playing instead of fighting.

          It looked like beating Alkil was nothing to him.

          "Stop it please “, I screamed again but none of them was listening.

           I just walked away in anger, I couldn’t bear to see them fighting. I was enjoying the fact that Alkil was getting beaten up but I still have feelings for him.

         "Rachel!!", I heard Draphel calling out to me but I just ignored.

         Immediately I got into my room I locked the door with tears rolling down my eyes.

           "What’s wrong", I heard to voices say only to realize that Troyal, Clara and Alice had been waiting in the room for me.

        I just fell to the ground and broke down to tears.

          They all immediately ran to me.

         "We heard that Alkil got engaged ", Clara was the first to speak.

        "Rachel we are so sorry we weren’t there for you ", Alice said along.

         "I know you aren’t crying for what happened master, but what happened ", Troyal who hadn’t spoken for a while finally said.

         I explained how Alkil had pulled me to a corner and how him and Draphel got into a fight.

       "Rachel we understand what you are going through but we need you to be strong for the sake of our families ", Clara said.

         I just rose up and walked towards my bed to sit and said, "I promise not to let any distractions get in my way", I wiped my tears before my emotions darkened.

         The next morning I woke up and prepared to go to the king’s chamber.

          "Rachel ", Clara called out to me as I was about to leave. I turned back towards her.

        "Don’t let your emotions get the better of you", she advised and I just nodded my head and walked away cause I understood what she was talking about.

          I got to Draphel’s room to find him already awake, he was sitting majestically in front of the fireplace.

        "How are you feeling now ", he asked still facing the fireplace the moment he noticed my presence.

            "What do you mean ", I acted like nothing happened.

           "Am sorry if I fought Alkil yesterday, I know you are mad at me because you still like him", he continued knowing I was just pretending.

            "I don’t like him", I denied.

          He looked at me and stood up walking towards me.

He held both of my hands with regrets and pain.

      

            "I just couldn’t bear the way he was holding you......I couldn’t stop myself from punching him. Infact I did not regret punching him one bit…but I regretted one thing ", he said and paused.

         I looked at him curiously waiting for what he would say next.

            Just as his mouth was about to move astroid came in.

         "Your majesty I have some news".

           Draphel left my hands and walked towards astroid who began whispering somethings in his ear.

           Draphel expression immediately changed to an angry one.

           "I will be back by tomorrow Rachel. I have to go do something important ", he said to me before turning to astroid.

        "Make sure to keep an eye on her. Don’t let any of the other royal family member go near her", he gave astroid a strict command before disappearing into the sky.

       I had wanted to know what he wanted to say to me but then we got interrupted.

He know he wouldn’t leave me without telling me what he wanted to say if what astroid had said was not that important.

          I just stood like a dummy watching him disappear. This was the first time I saw him leaving the palace just to return the next day.

        I walked out of the room heading to the kitchen hoping to meet with Alice and Clara there.

          Astroid and three other guards were unto me like I was some gold they needed to protect.

           It felt awkward as they kept following me unstoppably, the worst part was that everyone in the palace just keeps staring at me.

          "Can you guys just keep a little distance from me ", I requested.

            "We can’t let you be. We have to follow the king’s order ", astroid said.

         "Am not asking you not to follow the king’s order, I just I wanted you guys to give me space. I don’t like the way everybody is staring at me", I replied.

           "Alright, your wish shall be granted ", astroid said before asking the other guards to give me 20 feets distance.

               I felt a little relieved as they did so.

          I got to kitchen and asked the guards to wait outside because I knew they would like to follow me in.

        I found Alice cooking a delicious meal, I licked the top of my lips to show her my interest in her food.

            "Ohhh Rachel you are here, aren’t you supposed to be with the king now", she said as I walked in.

             "Actually I heard scents of food from the king’s room and decided to come check who was the amazing chief trying to get my attention ", I teased her.

         "How can my food go that far. Just tell me the reason for the sudden appearance ", she smiled.

             "Well the king has some important business to attend to so I have to just walk around the palace stuck with his crazy guards ", I whispered into her ears and roll my index finger on my head showing her a sign of craziness.

             She laughed and said," lucky you ".

             ”what do you mean lucky, this is ain’t called lucky instead it’s bad luck ", I grinned.

           Just as l just finished saying Astrain walked in.

         "Rachel! Rachel ", she called out to me.

I just looked away and growled in annoyance as she called my name.

           "Don’t ignore me", she used her hands to pull my face to face her in force.

               "What do you want from me ", I finally answered her.

           "I don’t need anything from you. After all my wishes are finally going to come through and the king will finally be mine", she smirked as if she had just achieved something.

               "King Draphel is never yours so stop dreaming because your obsession is going to get you into trouble ", I spoke out in anger.

          "Well you should just enjoy your days while it lasts long", she smiled wickedly.

              "What do you mean ", I screamed at her in desperation.

       

            As I screamed Astroid ran in to check what was going on.

             "Your highness you have to leave ", astroid stood in front of me and said to princess astrain.

                "Don’t bother, I was about to leave anyways ", she said and smiled at me one more time before leaving.

 

         "Are you Alright ", Astroid asked worriedly.

          "Am Fine But why are you asking ", I said.

             "If anything had happened to you the king wouldn’t spare me and I wouldn’t want any scratch on you", he said and walked out back.

     

         "What does she mean by enjoy your life while it lasts long ", Alice who had been standing like a statue watching everything that was going on for a while now said.

          "I don’t know too", I said wondering what she meant by that statement.

         I sat down hoping what Astrain was trying to say was not what I was imagining.

           Is she trying to get me killed, I wondered.

          **************( Patricia’s POV )**************

         Today is going to be a really stressful day for me.

          I remembered how I slammed the door on Anthony’s face yesterday just to go change my clothes.

I was really stupid for doing that but I never expected him to still stand at the door waiting for me.

           I thought he would have left in anger and I had planned to go meet him at his house.

         Anthony and parents planned to throw a remembrance birthday party for Rachel.

     Since the plan was made out of the blue, I would definitely be stucked with lots of things.

     I went to Anthony’s house to prepare everything needed by tomorrow.

         I found him on a call speaking to an event decorator.

         "So we will be needing you to come decorate the house this night before tomorrow morning ", he said on the phone as I walked into his room.

       I hugged him behind hoping to see his surprised face but it seems he already knew I was coming. 

         "Good morning babe", I greeted him still hugging his back.

        His just smiled and peck me on the cheeks.

          "We need it look classy and more like a teenage party “. He continued on the phone.

       "I will be heading to your kitchen to prepare the cake ", I whispered not wanting to disturb him.

           He nodded at me as I walked away from his room.

          As I walked into the kitchen, I found all the ingredients needed already arranged on a table .

       I guessed Anthony already knew why I was here. And had all this arranged.

      I immediately got to work, I started by mixing the butter up with sugar.

         

        As I began mixing the flour with it, I felt Anthony holding my waist from behind.

    "Stop I need to prepare this as soon as possible ", I smiled.

         "Weren’t you the one who came to hug me earlier ", he smirked.

       "I just wanted to greet you, and by the way is it a crime to hug your boyfriend “, I asked playfully.

        "Don’t you know you were going to regret your actions ", he smirked seductively.

          Before I could reply he turned me to face him and carried me on the table.

       "You Had rested this two oranges on my back. I think I need to teach them some little lessons ", he kept seducing me.

    I just watched him in shock as he seduced me. I couldn’t resist the way he kept looking at me.

            I subconsciously begun kissing him and to my surprise he fiercely kissed me back releasing all the fire he tried to control.

      I used my tongue to play with his, I could feel butterflies rising up from my belly.

       I had never felt this way in my life. This feeling was all new to me, it just felt like we were the only ones on the planet at the moment.

       Craved more for this feeling so I pulled him closer with my hands on his neck.

              He just made me more crazy for his touch as he kissed my ears softly to my neck then to my collar bone.

     I could feel his hot breath on my skin as he kissed my body, his breath only ignited the fire in me.

       "Can I ", he asked as he puts his hands on my button ready to take off my clothes.

I nodded as a yes signal, I saw a smile crawling up his face before he continued kissing my lips with his soft lips. Just as he was kissing me, he opened my buttons slowly which was only making crave for his touch more.

      He finally removed my cloth and threw it aside as my chest came to view with my bra.

        He unhooked my bra still caressing my body with his juicy lips.

        When he took off my bra, he just watched my body in awe. He was busy admiring my milky nipples.

         Just as I was about to ask him to continue, he put his lips on my nipples and suck it gently as he used his hand to play with the other.

       I could feel my nipples becoming harder in arousement.

        I let out a soft moan as he bit my nipples slowly.

          I moaned again in a painful but exciting enjoyment, he gave me a love bite on my right nipple before he pounced on the other.

   

       I bit my lips tightly to hold the moans in.

        "Don’t hold it in, moan for me babe. I want to hear you moan", he said.

         As I let go of my lips he kissed my lips unexpectedly.

       I felt his hands touching every part of me before stopping at my flower.

       "You are already wet. But I am not done with you yet", he smirked before lifting me on his front and carrying me to the sitting room.
