                  Final episode

"What do you intend to do"Charles asked again when Dawn kept taking long to answer him.

"What else. We are  free agents now and so, you are no longer my husband and am no longer your wife"Dawn replied.

"So your saying the two of us should go our separate ways?" he asked.

"Yes"Dawn replied gently.

"Do we have to resort to that. Can't we try to find a way around this?"Charles asked trying to find a way to get her to see reason..

"There is no other way to solve this. Let's just end it now. The annulment just made it possible"Dawn said and Charles walked back to her to take both her hands in his.

"But I love you and you love me too"Charles stated.

"And who will that help. I once let myself believe you and I ended up getting hurt. The hurt I felt didnt last for a few months. It lasted for five years and if we hadnt met again. I would keep on feeling that way and you....you will have forgotten that you had ever married someone like me"Dawn stated.

" Can't we just let go of the past. I promise to keep on making you happy for the rest of my life. I will do my utmost best to....."

"Charles. Let's stop making false promises to each other. If I stay with you. I wont be able to let go of the past and what I need right now is to let go of it. I have to let go of the past if I want to be happy" she said cutting him off.

"So there is no hope for us?" He asked and she nodded sadly.

Turning back to the house. He opened the door and turned to her.

"Just stay here until everything dies down and then I will take you back"He said softly.

"Thank you and I will stay outside for a while"She said.

"Why?"

"Just need some air. I will come in a little later"She said motioning him to go in.

"Okay. Butler Stephen will be your help once you decide to come in. Just call for him"He said wearing a sad expression. Which pulled at Dawn heart.

He turned to go in and she finds herself wanting to call him back but the fear in her stopped the whole thing.

Sitting on the stairs which led to the entrance she finds herself feeling more lost than ever.

She should be satisfied with her decision. She didn't want to get hurt for the second time, that is why she chose to keep  him away from her. So why is she feeling hurt about telling him to end it.

"That's because you love him. You love him but you are scared to have him back in your life. Have you dared to ask yourself if you have been hurt by him this time. Has he done something to hurt your feelings now that you two have met again?" Her conscience spoke to her and she thought about the question.

Charles hasn't  hurt her. She thought honestly.

"Then give him a chance. You will never know how it will go between the two of you if you don't give him that chance. You love him and he loves you. Your heart can testify to that. So go ahead and give Charles the chance to show you how much he loves you" It spoke again and Dawn found herself listening to it.

She loves Charles and he love her and if she didn't give him a chance then she will never know what their life will be like together.

Getting off the floor, she ran into the house ,intent on looking for Charles.

She saw the butler who told her that Charles is at the swimming area taking a rest.

"But Charles doesn't know how to swim"She said.

"He doesn't. He only goes there if he wants to be alone"the butler replied.

"Then I will go to him"She said as she ran off to the swimming area. 

There was no sign of him and when she was about to leave, she  saw something floating in the water. When she took a closer look, she saw that it was Charles.

"Charles!"She called as she jumped into the water to pull him out.

She layed him on the floor and her constant yell for him to wake up didn't work. Even the CPR technique she had used in the past didn't work.

"Wake up Charles"she cried out as she held him in her arms while she yell out for help.

"You can't die like this. You can't leave without hearing what I have to say"She said as she pulled him close to her.

"I love you. I love you and I want to start a life with you. I want to be your wife in every sense. So wake up and give me a reply. Wake up Charles"She said as the tears kept falling.

"You won't be taking back those words"Charles said suddenly and she pulled away to stare at him.

"Your not dead?"She asked.

"If you want to be sure that someone is dead then you should check their pulse. Am not dead"He said and immediately she moved into his arms to give him a tight hug while she let her tears flow out.

"I was so scared. Don't you dare leave me"She said.

"I won't and what you said a while ago do you mean it?"He asked feeling so very happy.

"I do. I want to be your wife again and have a family with you. I want to be with you"She said and he kissed her before pulling her up.

"I agree to that "He said as he kissed her forehead.

"What do you think about starting the family now?"He asked and she looked a bit puzzled by his question.

"Start it now?"

"Yes. Let's start our little family now"He said kissing her lips before lifting her into his arms.

"I think the bedroom is the best place to start it "He added mischievously and she smiled and curled her hand around his neck while he carried her out of the swimming area.

             THREE MONTHS LATER 

"I now pronounce you man and wife"The judge said to the two couple who were starring at each with a lot of love.

"You may kiss your bride"He added and immediately Charles pulled Dawn close and gave her the most sensual kiss ever.

After the signing and everything were done. The two took each other arms while they walk out of the court room.

It's been three months since she let decided to be with Charles. Three months that have been a month full of loving and happiness.

Charles have been the best man, the best lover, the best thing in her life. When he had proposed to her again. She had accepted immediately and though he didn't want to do it due to the fear of her being hurt.  She made him post about their relationship. Some of his fans were happy about it and some were sad about him being taken. Some were even insultive but they didn't care. As long as their relationship wouldn't hurt his job then it's fine.

Her parents found it hard to trust Charles again but his persistence finally got them to having him in their daughter life. She smiled at them as she walked past their seat row and they all returned it except for her mom who was wiping the tears from her eyes.

Luke was true to his word. He said he would move on from her and he did. She was happy to see him at their wedding with a pretty brunette next to him.

And next to them was Sonia. Though she had liked Charles, it had only last for a while because she was involved in another scandal with an actor which they both came out saying they were in a relationship. Dawn gave her a smile as she walked past her seat row and she was surprised when Sonia smiled back at her.

On the next row was Charles sister Mirabel and her daughter Anna. She had first met them at John wedding where she met Charles again after five years. Mirabel and Anna have been welcoming after they told them about their marriage. Knowing that someone from Charles family was here for him made her very happy.

Her friends and colleagues at work were the next . They waved at her and wished her well which she returned a smile to them.

They got outside only to see a lot of reporters there. Wanting to take their picture and also to ask them some things..

She turned to Charles who was already starring at her with a smile on his face.

"Being married to me will have this people around us all the time. It will lead to being in the news all the time. It will lead to a lot of scandal and rumour. Are you willing to go through it with me?" He asked.

"I am ready. After all you are a celebrity. Am willing to go through it all as long as you are with me"She said beaming a smile to him.

"Have I told you that I love you?"He asked.

"No. You haven't"She said teasingly.

"I....."He stopped when she put a finger on his lips.

"Just give me a kiss instead"She said earning a naughty smile from him.

"That will give the reporters something to write about "He warned softly.

"I don't care. Just kiss me and besides Am married to a celebrity. I must go through it" She said as she pulled him down to her to kiss him. 

Everyone clapped, wishing them well and praying that their love will last till eternity.
