Season 2... chapter 46

          MARION 

I turned away from his view, closing My eyes to get some sleep when his voice came.

"Why did you do that to yourself Marion?,to escape our wedding tommorow?"he asked.

Just hearing of that made me so sick, when he said I was going to be his wife soon..i didn't understand but then I saw what he had done, I needed no one to tell me he was fucking pushing through with his plans to marry me forcefully.

And worst of all,he had fixed it for tommorow so I wouldn't escape. So I had to do what I did even though it looks like My plan flopped totally, I wouldn't be able to get out of here.

"Fucking answer me Marion and don't keep quiet!"he snapped angrily.

"Well what do you think!, I don't love you James and I never will!"I yelled at him.

"Christopher is the only man I love"

"Shut up!"he growled grabbing My jaws forcing me to stare at him.

"I'll never..ever love you.. Chris is.."

"I said shut up.. shut them fuck up!"he yelled slapping me across the face,i fell back to the bed holding My stinging cheeck.

He sighed walking closer to My bed,"I really don't want to hurt you Marion.. stop making me hurt you. Behave yourself please.. I'll be back soon.. you must be hungry now"he said and kissed My forehead before walking out.

A tear slid down My cheeks,am I never getting out of James's grip?. I'm even more scared for the so called wedding happening tomorrow and I know my being injured won't be an hindrance to him.

I don't want this!, I don't want to marry James!, I sniffed caressing My belly.

I heard the door open and quickly wiped My face hoping he doesn't notice.

"James please just leave me alone"

"Marion.. it's me"I turned sharply to see Jennifer dressed in a nurse's uniform.

"J.. Jenny???.oh my gosh!"I called surprised and shocked.

"How did you find me?"

"I followed James. i had immediately suspected that he knew something about your kidnap so I followed him knowing he was going to lead me to you.. I came to get you out of here Marion"she said and I felt so relieved.

"But how about the guards outside?"

"I have a plan to take care of those and I'll need you do something too"

"Like??"

"Scream for help to attract those two inside and I'll do the rest.. I came prepared"she replied quickly typing something on her phone. "So are you ready?"I nodded with my heart beating rapidly.

She quietly tiptoed and stood behind the door, holding up two syringe in both hands.

"Now!"she mouthed and I immediately started to scream attracting the men inside, they rushed into my room while I kept freigning pain.

Jennifer rushed from where she was, stabbing them both by the neck making them unconscious immediately.

I gently pulled out the drip and slid down the bed staring at the unconscious mother fuckers.

"Where's James?", she asked just as the door opened and a lady walked in holding a small bag.

"He said he'll get me something to eat, I don't know where he went"I replied.

"Thanks"she said to the lady and handed me the bag.

", Put on the clothes quick and let's leave", she ordered.

I wanted to ask her more questions but I know this isn't the place and time for that either so I did as she said.

We finally got out of the hospital though the back exiting door with the help of the Lady, Jennifer immediately boarded a taxi and we both entered not after thinking the nice lady.

I breathed out softly, finally feeling safe.

"Thank you so much jenny.. for coming to my rescue.."

" You're welcome. But what I want to know is Why he would do that??. can't he just move on?"

"He's still finding it hard to accept that our love in the past had come to an end "I said and she scoffed .

"I don't think he's aware of what crime he's committed..he won't be spared "

"Ma'am you still haven't said your address "the driver said cutting in.

"Oh sorry.. take us to ADRON estate... the fourth house "jenny answered.

"Why there?"

"He night come for you at home so let's just head to your sister's place , it's safe there "I smiled and nodded in agreement. This would be the last place for him to look for me.

We alighted after paying the cab and knocked on the gate.

"Hello.. how may I...oh miss.. come in "the gate man smiled opening the gate and staring at me confused.

"Is Michelle in now?"Jennifer asked and he nodded quite dazed. We headed in and pressed the door bell for it to be opened by Michelle herself.

"Marion!"she shouted pulling me into a hug.

"We were so worried!.. thank goodness you're safe"

"You should also thank Jennifer.. she came to My rescue ", I said as she led me in. Asher emerged from the kitchen with Christopher and both froze on seeing me.

"My love "Chris gushed, rushing to hug me thightly.

"How..how did you get out?"Asher asked surprised.

"Turns out James held her hostage all along "jenny muttered.

"What!.. James kidnapped you?"

"Yeah and he was planning for us to get married tomorrow. I couldn't let that happen so I tried to do something by injuring myself "I said showing them My wrist and they all gasped.

"How did you find her?"Asher asked who started to narrate everything and we all stared shocked to know she had quickly planned my rescue in the hospital and even more single handedly.

"If I didn't come he would've married you Marion and that would be the end"

She's darn right about that.

"That bastard!"Chris cussed angrily.

"I'll just call toby to inform him"

"Same here..let me inform the police"Asher said dailing a number.

"You should rest Marion, I'll call Mom and Dad"Michelle said while Chris led me upstairs.

He helped me lay on the bed, stroking my hair softly.

" I would've committed suicide if anything had happened to you and our baby "he whispered.

"You don't need to say that Chris, I'm safe now and that's what important" I said smiling .

I breathed out another air of relief..i was no longer scared.. I'm now free....
