season 2.. chapter 45

               MARION

I stared at the huge and scary looking guard as he set the tray of fruit salad and a jar of juice on the table in the middle of the room.

"You'll need to eat beautiful"he said but I ignored him staring out of the window. Yes I wanted to eat but then, I need to get out of here because somehow I felt the need to quickly leave this darm place.

"Try to eat at least for your baby's sake..it needs to be healthy"he added before walking out and jamming the door shut with keys.

I sighed and walked closer to the table, staring down at the plate.. I pulled out a chair and sat down digging in.

The door opened making me roll My eyes at who it was,he walked in smiling with two bags in his hands. He dropped them on the table, leaning to kiss me but I turned My face away.

"He simply sighed and sat down,"I'm glad you're eating well at least "

"When are you planning on letting me go?",he chuckled.

"Never baby.. you're mine alone "

"I'm never going to develop feelings for you James, when are you going to understand that?"I said slamming My fork Angrily.

"Yes you don't love me now.. but you will have to eventually especially when we get married soon "he said making me confused for a while.

"What are you saying?"he smirked leaning back on his seat.

"Don't worry Marion... it's surprise "

Whatever he was planning, I was very sure I won't be liking it one bit..

What does he mean by that exactly.... could it be.....

No!.. I can't let him...

I honestly never knew the level of someone's obsession could reach this point.. never knew Racheal was this obsessed about me to want to kill Michelle.

Just the other day, I had gone to see her in prison and she wasn't even the slightest bit sorry for what She did even when she knew the grave sentence awaiting her.

She was going to be tried here in court before being transferred back to Chicago where her final sentence would be given.

"So when is her hearing??"I asked the lawyer as I walked him out. 

"Well as of now, both courts haven't fixed the date yet but I'll notify you once they do "

"Okay thanks "I shook hands and he left.

I sighed softly and turned to go but Michelle's car drove in making me stop.

"Hey "I smiled percking her lips. "Anything??"

"Nothing so far, we're thinking of printing more posters to aid the search. I'm so worried Asher, My parents especially mommy "she said sadly.

"Nothing bad will happen okay?, just continue to have faith.. Marion Will be safe with her baby "

"I really pray so "she muttered."I saw the lawyer leaving a while ago.. what did he say?"she asked as we walked in.

"No date has been fixed yet, we'll have to wait "I replied and she nodded.

I just pray everything ends soon enough,it wasn't really telling on My woman and I didn't like it one bit..

I wonder how Chris is even doing....

I sighed walking into My room after a long day,i felt very tired as I spent my time arranging for My wedding with Marion which is happening tomorrow.

Wondering how I did it all fast??..well money does all things.

Stepping into the room, I felt strange.. like someone else had been here before... and who could that be??

Who entered here before me??, without the key?, I wondered as I stared around My eyes landing on My wardrobe which was slightly opened strangely.

I yanked it open checking to see if Marion's purse and phone were still there and they were intact much to My relief. But why do I still feel like....

The ringing of my phone cut me off from My thoughts..it was Bruce.

"Yes what is it?"

"It's Marion, she's bleeding and we need to take her to the hospital. I already instructed my men to do that"

"What!..how did that happen"I asked worriedly.

If she's hurt.. the wedding Will be delayed and I don't want that.

"I don't know but we heard her scream and next thing.. she was bleeding from her wrist"

"Which hospital are they taking her to?"

"Lovely Dove hospital, that's the nearest to where we are"he said.

"Okay I'll be right there, please make sure she's okay"

"Sure"I hung up,closed My wardrobe and picked up My car keys rushing to the bathroom to wash my face a little.

I rushed out and jumped into My car, driving out to the hospital.

I arrived at the hospital and was directed straight to Marion's room, Bruce and two of his men were already there outside her room.

"Hey what really happened?"

"She slit her wrist with a broken bottle but if you ask me, I'll say she did it on purpose"he said and I nodded. It was very possible..since she wanted so much to get away from me.

"How's she??"

"You should ask the doctor"I nodded and walked in to see the doctor examining her.. her Left wrist was heavily bandaged with a few drips connected to her.

"How's she now doctor?", I asked sitting on the couch facing her. She turned to look at me with anger and disgust before turning away.

"Well the bleeding has stopped and we managed to stich up the cut since it wasn't that deep. She's okay and so is the baby "he said.

"Thanks doctor "I smiled while he left, leaving us both..

"Now that why you pull that stunt??"I asked waiting her response.....
