season 2... chapter 44

I flung the door open walking into the balcony area to meet Bruce and his boys drinking .

"What the hell happened?, she tried to injure you?"he asked pulling out a seat for me .

"More like she tried to kill me "I said settling down.

"Get him the first aid box "Bruce ordered to my surprise.

"You have a first aid box?"I had to ask.

"In our job we're bound to get hurt so it's normal for us to have it just  in case "he said drawing out a cigar from his pocket,he steached one to me which I declined.

One of his men returned with the box and began applying things to help me clean it.

"You know, you still haven't told me who that sexy damsel is to you "I sighed softly.

"She's My ex girlfriend..we broke up because I believed a lie about her but when I got to know the truth it was too late "

"she's in love with someone else and you still want her back right?", I nodded in response.

"She refused to give me another chance.. I had to get her by force "

"And you think she'll ever love you?"I smirked.

"She will and she has to because I'm never letting her go forever. I'll do everything to keep her with me "I said firmly as My wound was finally dressed.

My phone rang and I hissed staring at the caller id,it was Toby and I'm sure they finally got a wind of Marion's disappearance now.

"Yes and why are you calling?"

"Marion is missing bro "

"Really??..how did you know that?"I asked trying to sound surprised.

"She didn't come to the bachelorette party with Jennifer and her phone is still switched off too "

"Have you informed the cops?"

"Yeah Chris already did. By the way, where are you.. you didn't come to the party "

"I didn't feel like it so I stayed at a hotel on the outskirts. I'll be home tomorrow, don't worry "I said and hung up without waiting for his reply.

"They're looking for her?"Bruce asked.

"Yeah and they can keep looking.. they won't ever find her "I replied pouring some wine into My glass.

As long as I'm around.. they'll never find her.

I'll rather die than let Marion marry Chris... she belongs to only me...

"Make sure to guard her well , she mustn't escape and don't dare hurt her or you'll face me", I ordered the head of Bruce's men as I walked in to my car.

"So when are you coming next?"he asked.

"This evening or tomorrow morning, please take care of Marion well"

"Sure"I nodded and drove off. Toby's call came in minutes later..i connected My wireless airpod to answer it .

"Where are you James"

"What is it again??,"I hissed irritated by his constant calling.

"What do you mean by that?, you're supposed to be here helping to look for marion"

"I'm on my way so stop nagging me please"I snapped and hung up.

Left for me, I wouldn't give a fuck about them or anything else now that I had My woman with me but I didn't want to appear suspicious. The last thing I want is for any of them to suspect me.

As for that Chris, he'll never find Marion and even if he eventually does, it'll too late as she'll already be Mrs Wilson.

Yes.. Marion and I will get married and that will seal her as mine forever.

I arrived home to see Toby, Jennifer and Chris with some cops discussing obviously on marion's disappearance.

"You're finally here, where have you been anyway"toby asked making me roll my eyes.

"I just lodged in a nice hotel outside town...is that bad"I replied settling down on the couch while Toby walked the men out.

"You didn't even attend your cousin's bachelor party?", Chris had to speak.

"That's not your fucking business is it?"

"So what did the cops say?"I had to ask toby immediately he walked in.

", Nothing much than we're going to be printing posters of Marion to aid the search.. you'll help right?"

"Sure "I nodded. "But I'll be doing that in My own way and method "I added and headed off to My room.

I quickly dailed a number making sure no one was evasdropping .

"Yes,Bea's bridal boutique speaking"

"Yes I'll like to request for some bridal services from you. I'm getting married soon so I'll like to request a taken measurement for My wife to be"I said.

"So it's a Home service?"

", Yes and I'll get sending someone to pick you up personally to my place. My name is James Wilson by the way "

"Ok sir, we'll be waiting "

"Thanks "I smiled hanging up. The earlier.. the better and Marion Will have no fucking choice than to marry me.

She'll be mine even if I have to force her .

"So what did the cops say?"I asked toby as we settled down on the couch.

"We'll be printing posters of her to aid the search and keep our fingers crossed incase whoever kidnapped her calls"toby replied and I sighed sadly.

So far there's been no success in locating Marion and it was making me so scared mom hadn't been able to sleep or stop crying ever since but fortunately she's going on with her duties as foundation president.

I glanced at Christmas who knew looked a mess.. with eyebags forming under his eyes from lack of sleep.

" I hope and pray they're safe at least, I won't be able to take it if anything happens to them",Chris lamented .

"They'll come back safely don't worry "Jenny said. James walked into the living room almost immediately looking all dressed with a small bag which looked kinda familiar to me.

"Oh you're here, going somewhere??"I asked.

"Just out of town, I need to get some fresh air. I'm sorry for missing the party "he said but something else kept pricking me about the bag he was holding.

"I'll be out toby, don't wait for me because I won't be returning home tonight "ge added and walked out without looking back.

"Does anyone find this odd?!"Jennifer arched an eyebrow. She was right, and what could be in that bag??

"Why??"

"Knowing how much he's obsessed with Marion, he's less concerned now that she's missing. What if he knows something?"

"That's impossible jenny, James can't have anything to do with her disappearance. that's absurd "Toby chided but then I couldn't but consider Jenny's words..
