season 2... chapter 42

                  Marion 

Tears rolled down My cheeks as I stared at my sister's pale body connected with several drips and blood bags as she had lost a whole lot of blood from the gun shot.

I held her hand interwining it with mine,"please wake up Michelle.. wake up for us"I whispered as Mom patted Asher and I.

"I know she's a fighter.. she'll come back to us don't worry"Mom assured and I nodded.

It's all My fault... I thought inwardly as I stared at her.

She has to wake up, I have to apologise For the mean and horrible things I said to her out of anger and even with that she didn't hesitate to take a bullet for me..

"Come back Elle"I Muttered sniffing...

The monitor suddenly started to beep causing everyone to panic. The doctors and nurses quickly rushed in ushering us out.

We stood by the window while they worked on getting her stabilized.

I buried my face into Christopher's arms.. pouring out My tears...lord please let her make it..

The sounds from the heart monitor became even louder scaring me as we watched them continue with what they were doing...

The door opened and the doctor walked out looking sober...

"What's going on doc?, what's happening to My daughter?"Mom asked.

"I'm afraid it's not good news.. she's slipping away into indefinite coma and might not wake up soon "

"W.. What??"

I rushed into the room pushing the nurses aside grabbing her close to my body..

"Michelle???"

"Michelle you have to wake up!'"

"Michelle!!", I screamed in tears hugging her thightly..

No!!..i can't possibly lose My sister!!..no!!

I opened My eyes finding myself in an entirely different place, like a flower garden since they were lots of flowers mostly white Roses.

Where is this place? and how did I get here because the last thing I recall is getting shot..so is this the after life or what?

I sat up staring at myself, I was wearing a white gown barefooted. I noticed I was holding of white bouquet of white Roses..how did I get this?"I wondered standing up to My feet..

The ground felt so soft and soothing to My feet, I caressed the flowers gently and for a moment I wanted to stay here forever.

But I know I can't because I can't bear to leave Asher Marion and My loved ones.. I need a way back..

"Michelle!!"I snapped My head to the direction of the voice.

"Asher??", I called walking to the opposite direction where the voice came from.. a White bright light appeared and I had to shield My face from it..no doubt it was sign of the way back, I smiled walking into the light..

I slowly felt my eyes open again as I found myself in a different place again.

White Walls.... antiseptic..

I looked to My side to see someone asleep holding my hand,i smiled running my fingers through his soft hair..he stirred and woke up.

"Asher"

"My love you're awake!... you came back to me!"he gushed happily.

"Of course I came back.. I can't bear to leave you Asher.. I love you so much"I replied smiling.

"I really thought l lost You, I would've committed suicide immediately"he said and I chuckled softly.

"Where's Marion and the others?"

"I'll get them now"he kissed my forehead and left.

The door soon opened and they all rushed in.. Marion being the first.

"Thank goodness you're awake Elle, how're you feeling now?"she asked.

"I'm f..fine now.. thanks "I managed to say reeling from the surprise that she called me"Elle "again. I really missed hearing that..

"We were so worried about you Michelle, seems that woman who shot you had a big grudge against you and shockingly she's the famous Racheal Galvez "toby said.

"Yeah and Asher's ex girlfriend who's accusing me of taking him from her, she also tried to kill me and My friend one time .

"What??"they all exclaimed.

"Let's just focus on you now Michelle, Asher went to get the doctor"

"What about mom and dad?"

"They'll soon be here.. they're just around"Marion replied and I nodded.

"Michelle??"

"Humm??"

"I just want you to know I've forgiven you and I'm really sorry for the mean things I said to you"

"It's okay, I deserved it anyways because of everything I did so I should be apologizing Instead"I said.

"You saved me and I'll always be grateful, I've come to realize that no matter what you're still my sister.. My other half"I smiled hugging her thightly.

"Aww"everyone chorused 

"Can we join too", Jennifer cut in.

'"of course..join"they chuckled joining the hug.

"You're finally awake"a voice said making us pull away to see the doctor and Asher.

"Yes and I feel better now, when can I be discharged?"

"Don't rush Michelle.. you need to get well first"Jennifer chuckled.

"Don't worry miss once you're well enough..as soon as your stiches heal, you'll be discharged. You're very lucky it didn't hit your vital organs and your blood match was easily found.. just rest for now".

"Okay doctor",he nodded and left .

"So how's your baby doing Marion, did you attend your check up?"

"Yes the baby's well.. the doctor said he's a fighter "she smiled caressed her tummy..i really felt happy for her.. she and Chris deserved each other.

"Asher do it now "I heard Jenny whisper.

"Do what "I asked confusedly.

Just then Chris, Mom and Dad walked in, I stared confusedly as Asher went on one knee opening a small box making me gasp.

"Since the day we bumped into each other, My heart had started to beat for you and all I instantly wanted was to have you to myself. For the first time, I really fell in love and now more than ever.. I'm happy to have met you "

"So Michelle Amanda Shederack,will do me the honour of becoming Mrs Emerald?"I smiled nodding My head.

"Yes.. Yes I'll marry you "I said while he slid the diamond ring on My finger,he leaned closer kissing me briefly.

"And here's mine too "Marion said in a sing song showing me her left hand.

I gasped seeing our rings were almost identical too. We began squealing like teenagers making everyone laugh.

"Easy Michelle .. you might open your wound again"Dad said calmly and I smiled.
