Forced Marriage (Episode 33)
Chapter 33
Lauren took only a few things with her and headed out of the room. Her inner self filled with tears, pain. She didn't know what to do, nor what to say.
He could see her tears standing at the edge of the eyes, waiting to fall down her cheeks. Her smile, slowly fading. He shook his head violently and followed her.

"Lauren!" Marcos was the first to run and hug his sister. Her sadness disappeared immediately seeing how happy his brother was.
"It's good to see you little brother. So how do you like it here?"
"What can I say when I have the best sister in the world."
"I'm glad. Where's Ruby? And you're still awake at this time?"
"Inside. I wanted to see you first. I'll go sleep now."
She neared the car, but he didn't bother to look at her.
"Are you leaving?" She asked seeing that he wasn't getting out of the car.
"Yes."
"This late? Where are you headed to?"
"I'll see you when I come back." And just like that, he drove off, uncaring of his saroundings.
A frown settled on Lauren's face. The was no need for him to act this way.
Getting inside, Harper and Kim weren't around. The house seem to have more energy than before. She smiled at that because she knew very well that it was his brother who gave off a shake.
"Hello sister in law." Ruby greeted with a hug.
"You look different, more beautiful than ever." Lauren complemented her.
"I'm still the same old me, nothing change. Not even a single hair on my head."
A small laugh came from them when Lauren felt a bit funny funny on the stomach. "I'll be back." She hurried to her room without looking back. She closed the door and went to the bathroom quickly.
Coming out, wondered why she was getting nervous all of a sudden. Her emotions mixed up completely. She sat on the bed.
Her mind drifted to when Danny drove off immediately. She wondered what he could be up to that he would drive recklessly.
Taking her mind off Danny, she decided to sleep.

Lauren woke up and looked beside her. Danny wasn't there. She took her phone and looked at the time. It was still 7 in the morning. She looked at Danny's number. Think of whether she should dial it or not.
The door opened to see Danny coming inside. His hair was a mess. And there way he was dressing shocked Lauren. It had red spots. More like wine or blood stain.
She sat properly but he didn't give her any attention. He toased himself on the bed and fell asleep.
Lauren looked at him for long while. She looked at his shirt properly. It was blood. Her heart skipped a beat. She wondered where he was. And where the blood might have come from.
She took off his shirt, wanting to see if he wasn't the one hurt. Looking all over his body. He was completely fine. She breathed a breath of relief.
Thinking about what had happened the last few days. Lauren didn't want anymore drama. Though she couldn't find what she did wrong. She still felt like she was there one who was wrong.
She cleared her mind and smiled. Walked to the kitchen and prepared something for the two of them. After, she refreshed and finished setting up in the garden.
Danny woke up. His body feeling tired and a bit saw. He went for a cold shower and got dressed. As told by the workers, he went to the garden.
There was a smile on Lauren's face upon seeing Danny. Which hurt him. Be that smile will fade and become tears. He stood there by the table, making Lauren wonder why he wasn't sitting down.
"Aren't you taking a sit."
"No, I have work to do."
"Just for a minute. Please Danny," she begged.
"I have to go." He walked without saying another word.
"Look, I'm sorry if I have done something wrong. I just don't like the way you're treating me. It hurts. A lot." She apologied without even knowing what she did wrong. But still, he walked away like she wasn't even there.
She sat there for long while, her tears running down, her mind went black.
"Are you alright dear?" Harper asked me making Lauren return to life. She wiped her tears away quickly.
"I'm fine." She simply replied.
"Lauren dear. You know you can always talk to me. I don't know what it is that going on between you and Danny, but you know you can tell me anything right. If not me then Kim is here."
"I know. But all is well," she said taking a sandwich and ate it to assure Harper that she was alright.
"Alright dear. If you need to talk. I'm here."
She nodded and continued to eat while Harper left her. But her body, emotions couldn't keep up. She felt everything that she just ate coming out and immediately. She ran and threw up by the tree.
"This sucks. Why does it keep on happening?" she asked herself holding her stomach.
"Are you okay Lauren or?" Ruby asked giving Lauren a big fright.
"I'm alright Ruby. You gave me a sure."
"Well you're throwing up. Don't you think you need to see a doctor, or something."
"Don't worry. It's not a big deal. It must be the stress I'm having."
"Okay. But I still think you need a doctor."
"I'll go tomorrow. And why didn't you go to school."
"I Was busy with something else."
"Alright. Take a sit. There's plenty here," she looked at everything that was on the table.
