             Chapter 73 & 74

"Kim explain to me what happened please tell me"Her grandma said holding her face

She explained everything from where she started selling her body for money to what happened earlier today

Her grandmother was in tears by the time she was done

"Why Kimberly...why,you know I would rather die than allow you do that"she said

"I couldn't watch you die,who am I going to call my family when you are gone,who is going to be there for me,No one"She said crying even more

"Am sorry Kimberly,maybe if I had died and didn't fall sick you wouldn't have to be like this"Her grandmother said

"Don't say that grandma,I would be fine"She said

"Let report to the police station about what he did to you"she said and kim noded negatively 

"No please don't"She said

"Why??"

"It fine please don't"she said and her grandmother noded

"I would go to my room,I would like to be alone"She said and stood up and wiped her tears entering her room

She fell on the bed and started another round of tears

One thing she couldn't forget was the look on Logan's face 

They way he looked at her was really breaking her heart into pieces

She didn't want to report Sam because he had threatened to turn the case around if she did and send her to jail for framing and it was easy cause she is the prostitute here and also he was rich and she was poor

At a time when she kept struggling he hit her several times on the face and that why her face has cuts and was swollen

"Am so unfortunate"She muttered to herself feeling great pain underneath

She lost her v*rginity as a result of rape when she was 15

She fought of the trauma at a very young age thanks to her grandma who was always there for her

Her parents died a long time ago when she was young

Some years ago, when her grandmother developed stroke

She spent every single dime she had to keep her alive that at a time they barely had enough to eat

She ran around no one wanted to help her without asking for something in return and she didn't agree to any of it well untill the day her grandmother needed urgent treatment and was rushed to the hospital

She was told to get some drugs and pay some bills but she didn't have anything on her

She had to do it even if it wasn't what she wants to do

She slept with three different guys that day just to save her grandma's life

She never wished for this kind of life but sometimes sacrifices has to be made for someone you love

"I hate my life"She muttered in tears

NEXT DAY

STANDFORD COLLEGE

Kim watched Logan from afar looking for the best opportunity to approach him and when she saw him walk into an empty hallway she followed

"Logan!!"she called and he stopped recognizing the voice

He turned around and faced her but that care and affection look wasn't there anymore

"What do you want kim??"He asked and was wondering why her face was swollen and they were cuts but ignored it anyways

"I know you don't want to talk to me but I just wanted to tell you it isn't the way you think"She said and he scoffed

"You don't owe me any explanation Kim,it your life not mine"Logan said and was about to leave but she held him

"I really didn't go there yesterday to exchange my body for money"She said hoping that he would listen to her

"Save your explanation Kim I don't want to know,we are only friends from the start"

"Am only pained because I didn't know you would stoop so low and I trusted in you"He said and released his hand from hers

"Please hear me out"She said

"Kim I just have one question,Are you a prostitute"He asked and she bit her lip in pain as tears threatening to fall

"I am but...."

"I hate harlots Kim,I feel disgusted by thier presence"Logan said and the tear finally roll down as she stayed quiet

There is no point in saying anything,she was stupid to think he would like her or wanted to have anything to do with her after what happened

"Am only suprised you turned out to be one"

"It would be best if we don't see each other,we are almost out of school so we would part way soon anyways"He said and gave her one last look before leaving

She badly wanted to hold him and tell him how much she loved him but it obvious he didn't want anything to do with her anymore

She had gotten used to being judged wrongly and being left alone by people she loved but this seems to hurt her than any other she has experienced

Since her classes were over for the day she wiped her tears and left

He liked her so much and was even planning to ask her to be his girlfriend but who knew she would turn out to be a whore

It was the first time in years that he felt really attracted to someone 

He told her he didn't want to see her Anymore cause his poor heart can't handle it anymore

He sighed sadly as he left

A WEEK LATER

It was the graduation day for STANDFORD final year Student 

Every student was present including kim but only her body was present her soul was far away from what they were saying on the podium

The fact that it was Logan that paid for everything and was the reason why she is sitted here today is enough to bring tears to her eyes

Everyone was present with thier family but she got none 

Her grandmother wanted to go with her but she told her not to bother,it would be stressing her out

"The best student in Computer science for this year is Kimberly Anderson"The man on the podium said but her mind was far way that she couldn't hear her name been called

Logan looked her way and saw her staring into space with traces of tears in her eyes

"Kim you are being called"The guy beside her tapped her making her come back 

They repeated it and she wiped her tears and walked to the stage with no emotion and she was present the award

She did a really hard work to get this award,she didn't have to worry about her grandmother health so she placed her full concentration on her studies

Logan was also called and was given the award for the best medical student

Soon they were done and everyone was either taking pictures with family or friends but she really wanted to leave

She was about leaving when amber appeared in front of her

"Kimberly"she called cheerfully

"Hi Amber!!"she said trying to sound happy

"Why are you here alone come on join us let take some pictures"Amber said and held her hand

"Am sorry Amber but I have to go"She said and Amber sighed

"That sad, alright bye"She said and kim gave her a smile before leaving

"What is up with her"Amber said

HOSPITAL>>6pm

Rowen was sitting beside Lisa holding her hands 

Since he was going home tomorrow he wanted to stay with her today

He never gets bored of staring at her face

"When are you going to wake up"Rowen said allowing his tear to fall

He hasn't even check up on the children ever since they were placed in an incubator

He bent his head and wept again

"Ro...we..n"He heard a faint voice called

He thought his ears where pulling tricks on him not until her hand moved 

He raised his head up quickly and saw her eyes were halfway opened 

"Mona!!"He called standing moving closer to her

The life supporting machine was beeping and he rushed out of the ward to get a Doctor

Soon they were attending to her and rowen was told to stay outside

After a while the doctor came out with a little smile 

"She's awake and at a stable condition,you don't have to worry about anything Anymore for now"He said and Rowen's joy knew no bound

"Are you serious??"He asked

"Yeah but she doesn't need noise or stress right nowa so if you want to see her make it quiet"The doctor said and rowen noded before running into the ward not listening to anything else he has to say 

He entered the ward and truly she was awake with her eyes widely opened

He rushed towards her and sat beside her holding her hands in tears

"Lisa!!"He called and she smiled

That smile was what he had been dying to see for two months now

"Why would you scare me that way, do you know how worried I was"He said in tears and she raise her hand up wiping his tears off

"Am awake now rowen please stop the tears"she said slowly he smiled

"Am really sorry I caused you so much pain,Am really sorry mona"He said holding staring at her eyes

"Am really not mad at you anymore"She said

"Are you serious"He said tearing up again

"Am serious rowen"She said and looked at her tummy and saw it wasn't big Anymore and was back to normal and fear gripped her

"Rowe..."

"That are fine Mona!! Trust me"He said

"Really"she asked and he nodded

>>30 Minutes Later>>

"Lisaaa!!"Amber shouted happily as she entered the ward with the rest of the family

"The doctor said no noise Amber please"Rowen glared playfully at her and she glared back

"My baby!! How could you scare me that way"she said and hugged her sobbing

"Amber"she called

"Don't scare me that way ever again I almost ran mad"she said and rowen lifted her away from Lisa

"Amber please,you are placing your weight on her"He said and she scoffed

"My sweetheart how are you feeling now"Adeline said moving both rowen and Amber out of the way

"Am fine mum"she smiled and sat up a little with her help

Her eyes sighted kate and wondered what she was doing there

"Didn't they find out she was working for Ava"She thought

"Look I cooked a lot of meal for you, you've gotten so lean,my poor daughter"Mrs Robert said and ruby and Ariel dropped the bags on the table

"I would feed it to her"Rowen said quickly

"No I would do it"Amber said and they both start arguing on who would feed her

"She's my friend rowen,I knew her first"Amber said stubbornly

"She's the mother of my children it only right I do it"Rowen said and Lisa smiled

"Just stop both of you"

"I would do it myself"Adeline said and they both glared at each other

"Tell me darling what do you want to have"Adeline asked

"Anything is fine"She said

"Kate please pass me the dishes"Adeline said and kate did that

Lisa was feeling uncomfortable by her presence and Adeline noticed and decided to break the news

"Honey,we have something to tell you"Adeline said and dragged kate forward

They already did a DNA test on them and confirmed it was true

"Am sorry for the way kate behaved towards you but I can assure you she did it out of ignorance"Adeline said and Lisa hummed

"And that isn't all"Adeline said

"When we were kidnapped I found out you had a sister"Amber chipped in and Lisa faced her

"Yes Lisa,kate is your biological sister"Amber said and Lisa felt shocked taking her eyes to kate

Maybe she hadn't noticed but they do look alike truly 

 

"Really,my sister is still alive"Lisa said

"Yeah she is and it kate"Lisa said and kate moved closer to her and hugged her

"Am sorry Lisa,Am really sorry I wish I could turn back in time and correct things am really sorry"She sobbed and lisa patted her back also in tears but it was a tear of joy

"It fine Kate I understand"She said and everyone smiled at thier reunion

It was really a happy day for them

A BAR>>8PM

"One more bottle please"Drunk Kimberly said as she ordered the fifth bottle of alcohol

That what she had been doing every evening for about a week

"Am so lucky,am really lucky"She said and laughed crazily as another bottle was brought to her front

Today was supposed to be an happy day for her cause she anticipated so much for the day she would be out of college and here it is but she was feeling the opposite

"I hate harlots Kim,I feel disgusted by thier presence"That statement kept coming to her head over and over again

Her phone rang and she picked up the phone without checking who it was

"Hey"she heard Logan Voice from the other side

"Yeah"she replied drunkingly

"I just wanted to let you know Lisa woke up"He said

"Who is on the line"She said instead 

"Kim,are you okay"He asked

"Am fine,have always been fine all my life"She replied laughing out

"You sound drunk,where are you"He asked noticing the music at the background

"Me,Am at the cemetery visiting mum and dad"She said

"Kim listen to me,call anyone around around and hand the phone to him"Logan said

"Hey!!"Kim yelled to the waiter and he came to her and she handed her phone to him

"Hi"He said to the phone

"Am sorry but please can you tell me the address I need to come pick her up"Logan said

"I need cigarettes, please give me a stick"Logan heard kim said

"Please don't give it to her and don't let her leave to I get there"He said quickly

"It a bar opposite crystaland hotel please come fast"The waiter said and Logan hanged up

"Where is my cigarettes"she whined and the waiter gave her one last look before leaving her table

Unluckily for her,about 15 minutes after the call with Logan Sam came him into the bar with some friends and saw her drinking at a corner

He smiled and walked towards her

"Kimberly"He called and she looked up and moved back a bit when she saw it was him

"Stay away from me"She said moving away from him 

"Why are you always appearing anytime I need you"He asked moving closer to her

She stood up and wanted to leave but he blocked her way and held her hand harshly

"Please let me go I can't do this anymore"she said even at her drunken state

"Oh I see you are here"The waiter said

"Please don't let him take me away"Kim beg pleadingly but the confused waiter mistaked him for Logan

"Yeah I am,I would be taking her now"He said and dragged Kim

"Somebody help"She yelled

"Am sorry she is really drunk"He said and covered her mouth taking her out of the bar
